Lovari features Mariah Carey remake

Recording artist and actor Lovari revisits the sounds of the early 90s r&b/pop realm with his forthcoming album "The Rhythm Of Life", scheduled for release in May 2017. The album contains 13 brand new songs, and in addition, includes a remake of Mariah Carey's "Around You" (from her 1991 "Emotions" album).

The distinctiveness of Lovari's vocals lies within the various tones that he delivers, often sounding (and at times) being mistaken for a female, due to his pitch, as evident on "Need To Know". At other times, he ranges into a low baritone. The New York born and raised artist scored on the Top 100 Billboard Emerging Artists with his single "Te Siento" in 2016, and reached #1 on both the iTunes and Amazon R&B New Releases Chart with his 2013 single "Still In Love" (feat. Anny Jules).

The two lead singles from the forthcoming album - "Crush On You" and "Paparazzi" - display different flavors, and with the exception of the Mariah Carey track and the acapella rendition of Sweet Charity's "The Rhythm Of Life", Lovari is the sole songwriter on 12 of the 14 tracks. The singer actor can be seen regularly as Benji Xuxu on the Funny Or Die series "Kippy"and co-stars in the suspense film "Shore Thing".

I just watched his live performance of his cover on Youtube. He sounds like Jeremimi minus the sense of humour.

His voice is so, so, so, so horrible. How the heck is he legit? That was painful to listen to. That was comparable to the crazy singers on American Idol, during the opening auditions, who have no idea how atrocious they are until Simon Cowell goes in on them lol.
