Paula Abdul returns to American Idol
Last night during the results show at American Idol, the auditorium was filled with some major VIPs! In the audience was Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and sitting right in front of him was season 6 Idol winner Jordin Sparks along with her boyfriend, Jason Derulo.
The two guest performers were also no strangers to Idol. Season 3 winner Fantasia and season 2 runner up Clay Aiken both hit the stage individually and gave great performances. But that wasn't all! After Candice Glover's feedback video played, Randy Jackson was explaining how he couldn't reach Paula Abdul to tell her to watch Candice's take on Paula's song "Straight Up" from the night before.
Really Randy? But as he was talking, the split screen doors opened up and out came Paula! Candice didn't even notice as the crowd started applauding, but eventually she turned around and was in complete shock. "I'm the biggest fan ever," Paula told Candice. Aw!
Ryan Seacrest and the judges insisted on Paula taking a seat with Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj at the panel since girl power has definitely been this week's theme. Randy and Keith Urban stood right behind the ladies for a quick photo. Maybe Simon Cowell will make a cameo soon too! (Cambio)
