She had a wardrobe malfunction when her dress came undone while performing on Good Morning America on Friday. But Mariah Carey was the picture of style and composure later in the day as she left lunch in New York City. The 43-year-old looked as if she had stepped off t he set of a classic Hollywood film in her beige trench coat, large sunglasses and giant umbrella as she left Bubby's restaurant in the trendy Tribeca neighbourhood of Manhattan.
The American Idol judge looked glamorous in the flirty trench, which she paired with calf-length black leggings and black heels. Mariah shielded her eyes with giant black shades as she carried the umbrella while walking along the wet pavement.
She wore he highlighted blonde hair in loose waves over her shoulders and sported a giant butterfly ring on her right ring finger. Mariah appeared to be in high spirits as she grinned for the camera, seemingly unperturbed by her earlier fashion misshap.
The singer's dress came undone in the back while she was talking to GMA's Lara Spencer onstage. Following the malfunction, the wardrobe department quickly came to the rescue to pin the dress, but she still came in danger of exposing her chest.
