Nick Cannon dishes about Mariah, twins

Nick Cannon is a busy guy. He's balancing America's Got Talent, Wild 'N Out, and is reviving Soul Train, all while being a dad and husband. When it comes to his family, Nick is very protective. He told us exclusively that he probably wouldn't let his kids audition for America's Got Talent. "I probably wouldn't allow my kids to be on America's Got Talent because I don't want them to be in entertainment," he said. Nick definitely knows a thing or two about entertainment, having been in the spotlight for many years while his wife is one of the most talented singers ever.

But what if Mariah Carey couldn't sing? Nick said that his lovely wife would focus on making the audience laugh if she auditioned for America's Got Talent. "Mariah would probably do something with humor because she's hilarious," he said. "A lot of people don't get to see her sense of humor, so I would say something in that vein."

When asked if Mariah might turn to America's Got Talent now that her American Idol career is over, Nick said don't count on it. "I think she's so focused on her music and her album. I mean, that's kinda what she was born to do, so I think she did the TV thing," he said. "So I doubt that we'll see her do that again."

And what about him helping Amanda Bynes get her rap career off the ground? He said there hasn't been any news on that front, and says that if he were to give her a rap name, he'd have to think long and hard about what it should be. "I'd have to put some more thought into that because I don't want to give her a whack one that she'll have to live with forever."
