Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon wave goodbye to Bel Air

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have sold their massive Bel Air mansion and are heading for New York City. The loved-up couple, who got married in 2008 and bought the seven bedroom, nine bathroom property for $6.975 million a year later, have got rid of it for $10 million, which is $3 million less than what they wanted but still making a profit.

The pair will no doubt be happy they're moving on to pastures new with their adorable twins Morocco and Monroe, having signed over the 11,750 square foot mansion to new owners. And we think they'll be pretty happy with their purchase, as the property includes a movie theatre, gym and putting green.

If the new folks are into throwing parties, they'll love the A-list amenities, including an enormous kitchen and an Aspen room that can accommodate several hundred people. We wish we were invited to this housewarming. According to Trulia, the Hamptons-inspired compund has stunning reservoir views of Los Angeles and features high ceilings, wood floors and French doors throughout the property.

It also has a recording studio where the pair used to make, um, sweet music and parking for more than 20 cars! You could host a Gatsby party in this sprawling pad. Real estate sources have told TMZ singer Mariah, 44, and Nick, 33, plan to leave the left coast behind and head to New York, where they have already have a place, although they could be looking for a new pile. We don't know how it's going to compare to this!
