Mariah Carey's first appearance post-separation
A little too much going on here, dahling. Mariah Carey stepped out fully and overwhelmingly accessorized in New York's Tribeca neighborhood yesterday. Under that floppy hat, wide black belt, and long chain necklace, we could barely even see her purple one-shoulder maxi dress. The dress alone would've been enough; it didn't need all that adornment.
On top of that, she was wearing fuchsia slides that clashed with the deep purple of the frock. Oh, yeah, and she had on a butterfly ring like it was still 1997. But, anyway, this is the first we've seen her since the divorce announcement and she seems to be having no trouble putting on a happy face. Keep smiling, girl. (Perez Hilton)
