Mariah Carey busy preparing for huge comeback tour

Mariah Carey might have recently separated from husband Nick Cannon but it seems nothing will stand in the way of the singing sensation making her musical comeback as she prepares for her world tour. The Always Be My Baby hitmaker has been putting her split to the back of her mind and is instead focusing on her music career and her world tour, which she will reportedly be taking her three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan along for.

"Mariah is rehearsing for her Asian tour as she is leaving next week," her rep told HollywoodLife.com. Carey, 44, will take her "The Elusive Chanteuse Show" across the globe and doesn't look like she'll be slowing down any time soon, after revealing on September 17 that she is adding extra tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. But the star's rep revealed the singer will not set off on her adventure alone, and will be taking her tots with her as her rep added, "her kids are with her".

The Heartbreaker songstress recently revealed that she was feeling super inspired to write new music. She wrote on her website: "I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans. I can't stop writing songs so don't be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city!"

But while the music icon is moving on, her ex Nick Cannon reportedly looked glum backstage at America's Got Talent finale on September 17. Nick Cannon looked deeply sad at the finale. He's such a pro and did a great job staying upbeat during his shots and interacting with the audience, but when camera wasn't on him, he looked like a sad puppy dog, the source told HollywoodLife.com. "You could definitely tell he had other things on his mind. He looked like you would when you're heartbroken - trying to get through the day and keeping on a brave face, but down inside."
