Mariah Carey shares video of daughter Monroe
Her high-maintenance mother loves nothing more than dressing up. And it seems Mariah Carey's daughter Monroe is already following in her footsteps after the star posted an internet video showing the youngster wearing a pair of her boots.
The three-year-old looked like an experienced pro as she sauntered around in the high-heeled black leather designer footwear. And she even gave a flashy kick after her 45-year-old mother, who is currently touring Asia, asked her to show her a "karate chop".
When the Hero favourite asked her daughter what she was wearing she said, "My boots." After the singer pointed out they were actually hers, her Monroe added, "It's OK, I'll share," a quick fire response that obviously tickled the diva's fancy. One person who did not seem enamoured by the whole exchange was Monroe's twin Moroccan, who looked slightly confused at his mother and sister's antics.
Mariah is currently in the process of divorcing their father, cheesy America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon. The pair married on her private island in the Bahamas on April 8, 2008, after just six weeks of dating, but separated in August.
Nick has been making the most of his newfound freedom, and was spotted wining and dining a mystery beauty in New York last week. Talking recently about their split, he said: "I'm just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day,'
And he said he was still undergoing a procedure to remove the tattoo he had dedicated to the superstar. "It's not finished yet," he said. "It wasn't supposed to be revealed yet. I didn't know they were there, that's how sneaky paparazzi are. I had just gotten it done, it was painful. It hurt a lot and I'm still not finished, I'm still probably like six more sessions away."
