Mariah Carey performing at Stadium Merdeka tonight
American diva Mariah Carey has arrived in Malaysia and began posting on Twitter last night about her shopping excursions and cooking activities in Kuala Lumpur. Carey, who is in Malaysia as part of her "The Elusive Chanteuse" tour, will be performing in Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, tonight at 8pm.
"Pizza time with Roc and Roe," posted Carey, via her Twitter handle @MariahCarey, alongside pictures of herself and her 3-year-old twin boys Moroccan and Monroe at a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton Hotel. She also posed for pictures with local fans while shopping at the Star Hill Gallery on Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
"Ran into some lambily members while shopping in Malaysia. See you at the show tomorrow," posted Carey, who refers to her fans as "lambily", a combination of the words "lamb" and "family". With Twitter going abuzz with Carey's adventure in Kuala Lumpur, Twitter user @mzulkifli decided to be a little cheeky, tweeting, "Just driving around KL hoping to see Mariah Carey buying cendol or something."
A fan had also posted a video on YouTube of the pop singing sensation as she was exiting one of the boutiques, after which she obliged her fans for autographs. Instagram user Dexren Mah, a supervisor at a Christian Dior outlet in Malaysia, via his account @dexren also posted a picture of himself and Carey with the caption, "My honor to assist her! How gorgeous she was with Dior outfit." (The Rakyat Post)
