 Philippines concert major successMariah Carey, the international pop superstar, has been receiving warm welcomes and great  feedback for her recent performances in Asia during her current album tour. Carey is  currently performing on her "The Elusive Chanteuse Show" Tour that began October 4, and  ends November 16.
 Bringing up one of her more recent performances, the artist went to the Philippines, and  immediately received a warm welcome upon arrival. Upon landing in the country, and while  walking through the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Carey's screaming Filipino fans greeted  her. She later posted on her Instagram account, "Thank you Manila lambily for the incredible  welcome. I love you much. I can't wait to see you at the show."
 
 Carey's concert at the Mall of Asia Arena was evidently a success despite some negative reviews from critics that said her voice was a little off. However, others believe that Carey was pitch perfect and her all her notes through the 18 songs she sang.
 
 The popular '90s diva opened the concert with her classic song "Fantasy", then sang "Touch My Body", and "Shake It Off". Carey definitely can still belt out high notes as she also sang one of her  first hits, "Emotions". She also performed "My All", "Always Be My Baby", "Honey", and "Heartbreaker".
 
 Stepping inot what the press had to say about it, the concert received some high reviews from  Filipino critics. Not only did the Filipinos enjoy, it seemed Carey also loved her Filipino fans.  During the concert as reported by the Philippine Star, Carey consistently acknowledged her fans  saying, "It's so good to be here tonight. I'm giving you a hug right now. I just want to thank you guys so much for being so incredible."
 
 As the famous singer ended her concert, she said "Mahal kita, Manila" before she sang her most  famous song "Hero." Carey's next stop will be in Bangkok, Thailand on October 30 at the Impact Arena.
