Nick Cannon responds to Mariah Carey cheating rumors
Nick Cannon did not Plead the Fifth when asked if he cheated on ex Mariah Carey. The 34-year-old star appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" Thursday and played a round of the truth-telling game with host Andy Cohen. The pressure was on when a rumor resurfaced from October 2014 about Cannon and Carey's unraveling marriage.
"At Mariah's concert in Tokyo she sang her song 'Don't Explain' and she changed the lyrics to sing, 'I know you cheated, motherf----r'," Cohen said to Cannon. "But weren't those the lyrics already?" the "America's Got Talent" host interrupted. "She just added the 'motherf----r' to it."
"Was that about you?" Cohen pressed. "Was I the mother F'er?" Cannon responded. "I have... no... I don't believe that was about me."
Cannon has reportedly moved on from his six-year union with Carey and is currently dating model Jessica White, E! News reported. "Jessica fully respected Nick's relationship and would never get in between anything with them," a source said.
"When Nick was going through his breakup, Jessica was there for him as a friend. They been spending lots of time together and Nick really enjoys Jessica's free spirit and easy-going attitude for life," the insider added to E!
Despite reports he told "Extra" earlier this week that he doesn't "have time" to date right now. "I'm trying to focus on being the best father I can possibly be and business," he added. (New York Daily News)
