Hot 100: no record for "Uptown Funk"

Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)" will not set a new record for Hot 100 leadership. Its run atop the Billboard Hot 100 is officially over. Thanks to blockbuster sales and streaming levels, "Furious 7" soundtrack cut "See You Again" is the new leader on Billboard's all-encompassing Hot 100.

Credited to lead artist Wiz Khalifa and featured artist Charlie Puth, the Paul Walker tribute rises nine places to the chart's apex. "Uptown Funk", which spent fourteen weeks at #1 and seemed poised to meet or exceed the 16-week record achieved by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day", slips to #2.

Not simply the leader on the overall Hot 100, "See You Again" also tops the week's Digital Songs and Streaming Songs subcharts. It leads the former with 464,000 weekly sales and the latter with 25 million US streams.

It meanwhile leverages its 24 million audience impressions to claim #49 on the Radio Songs chart. "Funk" leads Radio Songs with 157 million impressions but is a distant #2 on Digital Songs (145,000) and #3 on Streaming Songs (14.6 million US streams).

Also in the top ten: Maroon 5's "Sugar" (#3, -1), Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" (#4, +2), Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" (#5, =), The Weeknd's "Earned It" (#6, -2), Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" (#7, -4), Flo Rida's "GDFR (featuring Sage the Gemini and Lookas)" (#8, =), Walk the Moon's "Shut Up and Dance" (#9, +3) and Taylor Swift's "Style" (#10, -3).
