Did Mariah Carey shade Nick Cannon with new diss track?
Mariah Carey might be ready to lay some thick shade on her estranged husband Nick Cannon. Her last album may have been a commercial disappoint, but Mimi is ready to bounce back with a new studio project. According to Showbiz 411, she's teamed up with LA Reid for a new album and there's buzz that she'll kick it off with a diss track about Nick called "Infinity".
A writer for Showbiz 411 who heard the song described "Infinity" as the kind of old-school R&B song that is spot on for today's sound, and fans won't be able to help but sing along at shows. Supposedly "Infinity" tells the story of a woman who has come to the conclusion that her forever love can't last, and she wants her man out of the house now. That sounds like it could be a word for Nick.
However, Nick might not be terribly concerned about Mariah's music at this time because there's chatter that he's focusing on a new woman. Mariah might be the mother of his children, but it's been rumored that he may be seeing model Jessica White. (Atlanta Daily World)
