This is the private backstage snap taken in Las Vegas moments after Mariah Carey told her fans of her "new heart". The 45-year-old mega star looked elated after dedicating her rendition of Hero to her billionaire beau, James Packer, during a concert at Caesars Palace's The Colosseum.
"I have a new heart tonight," the songbird told her fans. "James is in my heart tonight." Packer, whose love match with Carey was revealed during a swing through the Mediterranean last month, has told friends he found himself misting up over the tribute.
It was the first time the casino mogul had watched his gal perform since they hooked up. Packer's movie-making partner Brett Ratner, who introduced him to Carey, was also on the Glitter Strip to watch the concert on Wednesday night.
Before the gig, Carey showed her Instagram followers that she had the look of love, suggesting that someone special was backstage. "Happy backstage right before last night's show. If you look inside your heart," she gushed.
