Candyland
Mariah Carey has been busy writing songs for her new album while on her surprisingly successful Charmbracelet World Tour. When asked about the new material, Mariah was reluctant to give away many specifics, but did mention the following. "Ever since my dads passing I've been trying to kind of put together some missing pieces of my childhood, deal with the negative stuff, remember the positives. It's been an ongoing healing process and I think it will tell a nice story through my music."
Charmbracelet did better than Glitter, but Mariah Carey and her fans are hoping for a big hit that will put her back at the top of the music world. Mariah thinks she has narrowed down an album title to what will most likely be the laughing stock of her critics. On the new album in question Mariah states, "Candyland was always one of my favorite games growing up. I remember playing it with my family, and I think the title has a symbollic meaning as well, with all of the different colors and so forth.
