Singer Blunt keeps grip on charts

Singer-songwriter James Blunt has secured his third week at the top of both the UK single and album charts. His debut long player Back To Bedlam is spending its fourth week at the summit of the album chart and You're Beautiful is still the number one single.

Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Powter had the highest new entry in the single rundown, with Bad Day going straight in at number two. Ghetto Gospel by 2Pac and Elton John climbed back up a place to three. Eminem's latest single Ass Like That went in at number four, while Mariah Carey dropped from two to five with We Belong Together.

In the album chart, Coldplay moved up one place to number two and the highest new entry came from novelty pop act Crazy Frog in fifth place.
