Beesley swaps Scary for Carey
British TV star Max Beesley, best known for his part in BBC's Tom Jones, is to play Mariah Carey's lover in a new film. Beesley co-stars in Carey's debut movie - All That Glitters - a story set in the 80s about an up and coming singer.
"Max Beesley has signed up and will definitely be doing the movie as her love interest," a spokeswoman said. The film will be scripted by Kate Lanier who wrote "What's Love Got To Do With It", a movie based on Tina Turner's life. Beesley is currently dating Scary Spice Mel B. (BBC News)
