Mariah Carey looking svelte and stylish at MTV TRL
Mariah Carey taped for an upcoming performance on MTV's Total Request Live in New York City on Tuesday, July 22, looking as svelte and stylish as any other newly wed. She looked chic wearing a cornflower blue cropped collar shirt knotted at the waist, and a pink and blue tie-dyed mini skirt with a silver chain belt.
She accessorized with 5" tall Altadama watersnake Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps (£589.84), two tone bracelet bangles on her right hand, large hoop earrings and a flashy wedding ring of course. Her blond tresses were left open styled in bottom curls.
Carey married actor/rapper Nick Cannon at her private estate on Windermere Island in the Bahamas on April 30, 2008. With eighteenth number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 Carey leads all her contemporaries. She will perform at Conde Nast Media Group's 4th Annual Fashion Rocks benefit at New York's Radio City Music Hall on September 5. Other performers at the event include Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban and Rihanna.
The 38-year-old Grammy award winner made a remarkable comeback with The Emancipation of Mimi in 2005, after her career was derailed in 2001 with the release of the semi autobiographical album Glitter. Carey is now estimated to be worth $225 million by Forbes. (South Asian Women's Forum)
