Matt Goss feted by Mariah Carey and Nicole Sherzinger
Performer and pop star Matt Goss is currently appearing at The Palms in Vegas. He has been given his own room - the Gossy Room - making him the first performer ever to get that type of support or recognition from the owner, George Maloof.
Goss celebrated the Red Carpet Opening Night of his new headlining show, Matt Goss Live From Las Vegas. Goss and the Pussycat Dolls are both managed by Robin Antin. Matt had his VIP opening last Saturday where Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger joined him on stage, and diva Mariah Carey was on hand to show her support for the popular entertainer. Also seen was reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who performed a few numbers as well.
Palms' owner George Maloof created the Gossy Room so that Matt's fans can see his show every Friday and Saturday evening. Goss' show is described as Vegas Retro Chic: cool retro, edgy high style with a classic Rat Pack vibe.
Goss' show features two sizzling backup singers and four dancers affectionately known as The Dirty Virgins dancers, who strutted the stage in their black bustiers, pink garters and thigh-high stockings in the lush setting, where the cocktail waitresses were reportedly dressed as sexy flight attendants, just the way Frank would have wanted his broads.
That special evening saw Goss take care of the house with a round of drinks as model and host Daisy Fuentes was joined by "Downtown" Julie Brown, Deborah Gibson and Bravo star Jonathan Antin, along with many fans who came from London and Australia.
Goss, nicknamed "The Voice", performed tunes such as his just released hit single Evil from his new CD, "Gossy", which was released Sept. 15. He has sold more than 12 million records since beginning his singing career in the group Bros with brother, actor Luke Goss (Hellboy II: The Golden Army). (Monsters and Critics)
