Mariah Carey "won't always be a diva"
Mariah Carey says she will get rid of her entourage one day, because one of her idols advised her to live a simpler life. The pop superstar is known for her diva lifestyle and for making big demands - just this week a TV host on UK show GMTV revealed the extent of her pampering entourage - but Carey says she won't always act in this way.
The singer says: "A very famous diva once told me, 'Mariah, one day you're not going to want to have all these people around you.' She was taking her own bags off of the airport carousel and I really noticed that she was in control of her own life and doing things you don't need to have all these people around you and it's true."
Mariah refused to divulge who the diva was, simply saying: "Who is she? I don't want to say her name because maybe she wouldn't be happy, but she's someone I've admired my whole life." (AngryApe)
