Meet and Greet question (83,265) by Seth M from South Africa
I have a meet and greet ticket for the Vegas show in September. I was wondering if anyone who has been to a meet and greet with Mariah, will be able to answer my questions. I want to know if I'm allowed to take a gift for Mariah and if I'm allowed to ask her to sign a CD. Please let me know and I will be eternally grateful.

Re: Meet and Greet questions (82,300) (82,366) by Seth M from South Africa
Despite the different opinions expressed here, I would like to express my gratitude to this website because it is through this website that I found out that Meet and Greet tickets are available. I looked on ticketmaster's website and they do not advertise Meet and Greet. Even when I called them (which was hell to get through a human being yo speak to), they said that Mariah is not doing a Meet and Greet.
I always visit this site every day and Eyeguy 759 said that he got his ticket as an Ad On when you check out from ticketmaster. I did that and got a Meet and Greet for 10 September. Mariah's music has been an integral part of my youth and inspired me in so many ways. Her albums have helped me get through challenging situations in the past and I'm so grateful to her as a singer and songwriter that it is natural I want even a moment to meet her at any cost. When she visited South Africa, I was unable to get Meet And Greet tickets because they were sold out within minutes in every city.
I booked accommodation at Harrahs for this Vegas show and will be staying there for a week, from 7 to 14 Srptember. If there are any other lambs going and want to meet up then please email me at vadobrite@gmail.com.

I would also like to buy a meet and greet ticket. For which show is it? Which website did you buy your ticket?

Re: Richie receipts (69,957) (69,963) by Seth M from South Africa
Just a point of correction here. Lionel Richie is not the highest paid singer this year. That article is from mediamass.net and they also say that Mariah is the highest paid singer of the year here.
Obviously someone has alot of time on their hands to create fake stories. According to the official Forbes website, it is Taylor Swift who is the highest paid female, earning $170 million dollars for 2016. That is not far off from Mariah's entire net worth and Taylor is still young. What I like about Taylor is the fact that she portrays a humble image and does not flaunt her money or try too hard to look sexy.

I think that you must be posting on the wrong forum. We are all lambs here and not Dodo birds.

It is very annoying and I left 2 comments on her video.

Re: Wendy Williams (63,672) (63,682) by Seth M from South Africa
Yes. Wendy is very jealous of Mariah. I can't believe that she said on her show that she predicts that Mariah and James won't get married because Mariah is annoying to be friends with or get married to. Wendy will look like a clown the day MC and JP tie the knot. Then Wendy has to give her viewers a refund for her inaccurate prediction and can blame it on her crystal ball malfunction. By that time, a house would have fell on her.

Demi singing Mariah's song (63,537) by Seth M from South Africa
Here is a link of Demi singing Mariah's song. She was off key in some parts and should have not dared to sing this song since she does not have the chops for it. My twitter account is giving me problems so can someone please tweet this video to Demi and ask her if Mariah is so rude then why did she chose to perform her song? If Mariah sees this video then she would probably laugh.

Re: New music (62,670) (62,679) by Seth M from South Africa
I hear what you say but my concern is that Mariah is 46 years old. Putting out records when she is 50 will not make it easy to garner hits. Despite her age, she will probably still try to do sexy songs and videos like YME. If she does then the public will make a mockery of her trying to act sexy at 50. While she is still relatively young, it would be best if she can put out new music now.

I agree with everthing you said. Do you perhaps have the name and email address of this journalist? I too would like to send her an email and give her a piece of mind. It is sad when journalists don't do their research and write not so nice things about Mariah just because they don't like her. We as the fans need to defend Mariah from such unecssary attacks.

Re: Johannesburg show (61,786) (61,793) by Seth M from South Africa
Yes, you are right and I had a blast because I hired a stretched a limo to take me and my friend to the concert and bring us back home. It was so funny because when we arrived at the venue some fans ran to us and started taking pictures, thinking that it was Mariah inside. When the driver opened my door and we jumped off, they realized that it was not Mariah. It was so funny and I had my moment.

Johannesburg show (61,783) by Seth M from South Africa
I just returned from the Johannesburg show and I am still enamored by Mariah's talent. Her voice was unbelievably strong hitting those high notes. Watching her on videos does not do justice to her beauty because she is 10 times more beautiful in reality than what you see on tv. Nobody can tell me that Mariah has lost her voice as my friends and I witnessed how powerful her voice was today. We had front row tickets and we were so close to Mariah that I thought that I was dreaming. The set list was pretty much the same as Europe but instead of singing "Against All Odds", she gave a brilliant performance of " Fly Like A Bird". She brought her kids on stage for "Always Be My Baby" and they started to dance for almost the entire song. It did interupt her performance of the song here and there but the crowd did not mind as we thought that it was cute. She did "I'll Be There" with Trey and for the last part of the chorus, Michael Jackson appeared on the big screen (when he was a kid and with the Jackson 5) and sang the remainder of the song until the end. I was disappointed that I was not in time to get meet and greet tickets in December last year when they released them but I was happy that I had front row and was so close to her. I took lots of pictures too.

Mariah and Michael J duet (61,398) by Seth M from South Africa
Here's a pic of Michael Jackson and Mariah together. I see it is from the year 2001. Since they both are holding microphones, I was wondering if they sang together on stage. Does anyone know if a duet happened?

Re: Who would you rather (59,800) (59,806) by Seth M from South Africa
Wendy looks like a [censored] and she is obsessed with Mariah. She is talking about age when Mariah is way younger and better looking than her. She is jealous because Mariah makes a living through her talent of singing and songwriting while Wendy makes a living gossiping. Shame, it must be sad making your money by always slandering other people. I wish for the day that Mariah calls in and give it to her in public, the way Whitney did back in the day. Whitney was on fire that day and Wendy was lost for words during that radio interview. Wendy should consider other career options so she won't feel guilty knowing that the food that her child is eating is derived from income she earns gossiping.

Re: That pure pop rush (59,766) (59,770) by Seth M from South Africa
I think that YDKWTD was a great song but the rapping with Wale spoilt it and may have prevented the song going big. As I mentioned in a previous post that most non fans and the general public don't like rappers on a Mariah song. Rapping appeals to a very small market and not the general public and unfortunately the results have shown in Mariah's recent attempt. I immediately skip Dedicated on MIAM because the rapper speaking at the beginning is a put off. We all know that I'm not a fan of Adele but I do respect her success and music and if you look at Adele's formula, you will see that her hits are aimed at the general public where everybody is likely to like it and you can hear clearly the lyrics that she is singing. When someone sings the lyrics clearly, then you can hear and connect to the meaning of the song but singing fast and having rappers does not appeal to everybody. Again, as much as I loved the message from Triumphant, I really did not like the rappers. Sometimes, Mariah works with rappers who are literally unknown. I mean, who is Mike Mills and Wale? She also worked with Freeway, Cameron and Shawna (a friend of Da Brat). I've never heard of these rappers only until they were featured on a Mariah song. To me, Mariah is the best singer and songwriter of all time with the capability of writing many more number 1 hits. She just needs to rework the formula and re-engineer her production with people who are in touch with the current trends in music and who will help her incorporate her style into that. She can still be who she is but give us something relevant and lose this et producers who still live in the 70s like Big Jim.

Mariah and rappers (59,738) by Seth M from South Africa
Another rapper is now added to the list of people claiming that they had sex with Mariah. I mean really Stevie J? This annoys me so much. First Eminem then Damizza and now Stevie J. If I can remember, a few years back another rapper made similar claims (I can't remember his name). These people get to a low point in their fading careers and try to make up stories about Mariah to get publicity. I am so glad that Mariah is not seen anymore hanging out with rappers and so called friends who only leeched from her. I'm sure she realized that if you hang out with pigs then you are sure to get mud on your face. I really hope that her next album will not incudes any rappers as Mariah is capable of making a hit all by herself. For the general public and non fans who I have spoken to, they say that the rappers on a Mariah song is a put off.

Mariah and George M duet (59,718) by Seth M from South Africa
It will be so nice if Mariah, while on tour in the UK, invites George Michael on stage for a "One More Try" duet. That is one of my favourite songs on MIAM and the depth of emotion evident in Mariah's vocals is reminiscent of the Music Box era. Just imagine how epic that performance will be if it is done as a duet.
