Re: LA is leaving Epic (75,153) (75,155) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Hey Mimi L. Miss most of you guys. I thought the same way too Mimi L but Sony will lose more money if she walks again. She sells in excess of 400,000 copies WW in back catalog sales alone. They can't afford to see her walk a second time. She will probably cite breach of contract if she was to leave. Sony makes more money with her on the label vs. when she is off the label. Her having her own label definitely helps everyone. I think this will be great but I am hoping that her partnership will change to directly with Sony and not Epic. This sounds like a Win-Win for everyone. Except LA Reid of course.

Re: Everyone asking: why open for Lionel? (71,632) (71,638) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Mariah is co-headlining. It's all about wording because Vegas residency contracts prevent co-headlining tours to be worded as such in the USA. The loophole around this is changing the way it sounds and doing a featured act. However, being a featured act for touring is technical and does not mean they won't perform co-act. Mariah and Lionel have both confirmed it's a co-headlining tour. Nice talking to you again.

Message to everyone (67,106) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Hey everyone. This Is Travon Austin. I wanted to personally apologize to anyone that I have upset while I was posting here many months ago. I was consumed with anger and upset with those that became upset with me. That was no excuse for my actions. I am a very bright and rational person in nature. I do not like negativity and I tend to vent out of character when negative things happen. I feel that I did that here and for that reason, I apologize. It's been in my heart the last month or two to post this message and apologize. I currently have the strength to say that I am sorry. I apologize for saying a few bad things on UKMIX. I also apologize for being a bad example of a supportive lamb. There's a lot of people here that I really appreciate and I hope you all the best. I have not posted and I will not be posting here but I wanted to give all of you this message. If there is something positive that I can say from my heart, here it is: "It's better to be positive than to be negative. If negativity strikes it is not the weak at heart that is to blame and it's not the strong at will that is to fall but how we work together is how we rise. Accepting when we are wrong is fruitful and understanding when we are right is unnecessary. By our actions and our actions alone can peace take place and allow prosperity. Love makes all things great and allows us to give away our hearts." I wanted to give you all my heart today and I truly thank all of you for every experience I learned here good or bad. Love you all and God bless you.

Re: Petition (64,596) (64,605) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Mimi L. I am starting to get pissed because you and everyone else are saying I bashed Marissa. I keep getting accused of being rude because I don't want to sign the petition. All of my posts thus far have been appropiate and I have tried to maintain my class. I keep talking about the petition because people keep responding to me or referencing my name while accusing me of being rude. If you ask me a question, I will answer the question. If you want me to explain, I will explain. If you dont like what I am saying and you are negative about it, expect me to respond. I have no issue with this petition. I have made that clear despite my feelings towards it. I have also stated how I feel about the petition. I have also apologized and made my points clearly. Why should I have to explain how I was being rude when I feel I was not being rude? I understand apologizing for our differences of opinion but I have already done that. What else do you guys want me to do? Get down on my knees and beg you please. I am not desperate nor am I going to let others run over me. Are my consversations with Andrew and finally agreeing with him rubbing people the wrong way? Please elighten me as people have called me names this week and a hypocrite when all I was doing was giving my own separate opinion. Even giving my own opinion, I supported all of you and offered to sign it if anyone would ask me to. Not from my own free will was I willing to sign it. Instead I get f*** you (sarcasm) and explain yourself you piece of s*** (also sarcasm) tyes of attitudes. What's up with that?

Re: Petition (64,578) (64,593) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Yay you feel a certain way. Good for you but honestly, you can keep my name out of your mouth. I have different views with this petition than everyone else except Andrew. That's rare and I have made that clear. We agree on that and that only. I have been extremely detailed in my responses to make my agreements and points more clear. I do not care for the petition. I will not be signing the petition. I will not be sharing the petition. There is nothing rude or biased about that. I have stated the petition has great points for the lambs that support it. I am never biased and I try to keep an open mind. I even praised the petition and apologized for my lack of caring of it but my stance on this still applies. Also, people can argue for years and finally have an agreement. That is called common sense and I hope you have it. With that being said, Andrew and I have flooded this post for 2 years with arguments and I am happy we finally agree on something. The rest of you can feel a certain way about me with it but I won't care. That's your right. Just remember that I have been Mariah's #1 supporter on this site since the beginning when everyone else were having fits in their own seperate ways. I don't look at something about her at face value and then decide to start a petition. That's my choice. I have a right to that choice just as you guys have a right to do what you see fit. I have made that exremely clear this week. I accept others choices for it as well. It is what it is. I understand the petition but I am always looking at the bigger picture with her. I will ususally let the one eyed monsters try to fight for two eyes while I sit back and wait for a resolution because I am always looking at the overall picture. I alway try to refraim from arguments unless someone comes for me. I have tried to maintain that class while maintaining my dignity. That is not easy when every lamb has their own agendas of Mariah this and Mariah that. So I have decided lately, to just speak my mind. If you don't like it, thats completely fine with me. If you do like it, that's also fine with me. The same people who are upset with me agreeing with a fellow lamb are the same people who don't know how to prioritize their feelings and what they say. Stop being butthurt that I don't agree with this petition. Also, please proofread my posts before you fly off the handle and use my name to make a point. It's declasse and shows your educational level. Have a great day.

Haha I can't deal. I now see it from the other side. I agree with you. After all the arguments we have had though. I am sure we might have more but loverboy? Seriously too funny. Ugh the thoughts and nightmares I will have. I can't. I need to spread my wings and fly butterfly. Haha.

Re: Petition (64,551) (64,569) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Ugh. I hate agreeing with you but I agree with everything you just said. I would love for someone to create a petition for a 100% ballad/Jazz album and a long overdue tour in the USA that's not Vegas. Better yet, how about several fan meet & greets at her homes like Taylor Swift.

Re: Petition (64,531) (64,534) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Good for you. I applaud your dedication. You have every right to do what you want to do. Every fan does. Not being rude sweety. I refuse to discuss this any further. I am not sending the petition as a message. Point, blank, and period. Thanks for doing what you see fit as a lamb and by the way I read the petition. You have made solid points but I just dont care at this point. Some lambs have taken so much fun out of everything that I don't know what is serious anymore. So I have become more prone to not caring at this point. I apologize to you. There was a time I did care more and you were a great supporter of that. Sorry for being so blunt lately. I will wait for new music and I will go from there. Love you sweety. Heading to take my nap.

Re: Petition (64,519) (64,530) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I do have an account but I will not be posting it. Some fans think this will create changes. Other fans think they could care less. Some fans are too obsessed and don't realize when they have become the same as the paparazzi or tabloids we hate. Fans are diferent. I am a realist. I do not beleive this petition will do anything. I actually think it will cause unrealistic expectations that will ultimately cause fans to get their hopes up. Also, UKMIX is not the same as this post. People there are more classy and they have to abide by restrictions that would make this type of advocating seem senselessness. I love you much Mimi L but I disagree with you this time. If you ask for me to sign, I will do it for you. Until I am asked, I won't affiliate myself with another failed attempt for Mariah to come back to everyone's different forms of reality. Love you sweety.

Re: Petition or nah (64,415) (64,432) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Aren't you the same person that always brings race to your own topics of discussion. You, just last month got railed by many people here because you brought up Mariah Carey working with black hip hop artists and then tried to backtrack your statements. Aren't you the same one that always plays foul but then cries to the webmaster every time you get butt hurt. Then you expect people to not be stereotypical of you. You can not have it both ways. I could care less of what people think of my race because I don't react and shoot at people when I think they are being racist. I respect my officers and my peers. However if someone, like you, have always been a jerk since my first post almost 2 years ago, then we have a problem. I do not like you and I do not care for you. Your profile picture makes you look even worse. Go get a cotton candy and get a sugar high. Change your picture and become nicer. Then maybe we can talk. Until then, I am moving on to better things. Bye Felicia. "ls like you a chance to pipe up an remind everyone, occasionally, of your race, and which college you go to and how gay you are whilst posting a passive aggressive smiley. I spot with my eyes many grammar issues that need fixed. When I type fast I might have a few issues with my post. This comment, however, is a mess. Andrew, you better stop now. I am just getting going with putting you in your place, like, I have done many times before." I am laughing even harder now after reading your comment again. I spot with my eyes many grammar issues that need fixed. When I type fast I might have a few issues with my post. This comment, however, is a complete mess. Andrew, you better stop now. I am just getting going with putting you in your place, like, I have done many times before.

Wow. Yeah I am happy to have a fellow lamb close but not too close, as well. I have been to Chicago once. Like most major cities, there are many suburbs and other bigger neighborhoods that make up the city. I have only been to the science museum of art and history and the amazing aquarium in downtown Chicago. Beautiful city indeed.

Re: Chicago lambs (64,411) (64,419) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I am close by, directly 2 hours south of Chicago in NW Indiana but I am in college and am about to begin working soon. Mariah never visits Indiana but Indiana is near alot of major cities. She has so many fans in the Midwest and Ohio Valley. It's crazy how many she has here but she typcally only visits Chicago mostly.

"Trayvon, I hate to think what James will do to her hood credibility that you think is so highly important." You actually just proved my point exactly without saying much at all. I am done talking about this since I can't be addressed correctly. Have a great day.

Re: Petition or nah (64,400) (64,405) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
We can agree to disagree. Anyway I have been quiet lately and I watch so many lambs go from moody to happy to unpleasant to not knowing what the hell they are talking about. Schizophrenia is a horrible condition and I am hoping no one has it here. From the always horrible Mariah or the manager that doesn't know what she is doing and all the hoopla over whose breast can be the biggest(sarcasm), this board needs a different tone. Nothing is going to change anytime soon. Too bad Mariah does not listen to complainers very much or the weariest of fans who seem to have no life. It's the same crap everyday on here and people post all day like they are extremely lonely. It is irritating and the drug addicts seem to like it. Guess what, I dont care if people have an issue with this statement. It needs to be said. I will be expecting and awaiting useless responses to the help. I might even like your comment. Mariah does Mariah but we love everybody. Yay. Not.

Re: Poor Nick perhaps (64,384) (64,398) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I dont need a Nick Cannon or race lesson from you. I am black and I lived the most important era of Mariah's Emancipation. I am also from the hood. I am not saying it's Nicks nor am I saying it Mariah's fault. It's both of them as it should be. I am black by the way and this has nothing to do about race. I am talking about perception on Mariah's image. Everyone is so confused with Mariah and it's causing havoc now. Do you honesly believe the 12 million purchases of "The emancipate of Mimi" album came just from loyal fans? No. Half of those sales came from non fans that loved a few songs or 1. A majority of the success came fron the urban neighborhoods. I witnessed it and I lived in those same urban neighborhoods during that time. She was poppin from the cars and even grown non-gay masculine men were buying her albums just to hear , "So lonely (one and only) pt 1&2". The urban "we" never took Nick seriouslly. He was always considered a man who could not rap and he was notorius for being Mr. Nickolodean. Only kids and teens cared for the guy. He was always seen as being too corny and corny doesn't fly in the ghetto. When she married him she lost her hood credibility. That's the demographic she has been catering to since ODB. I know what I am talkng about. OK.

Re: Poor Mariah (64,369) (64,396) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Mariah admitted in an interview mid 2000s that they have talked and she forgives him. It was after 2005 but before 2010. When she married Nick, the interviewers made it a priority to ask her constantly about her old marriage and the abuse. It's not bashing if someone is asking what happened and you provide a clear vivid answer. I can try to find it. I believe it could have been around 2008-2009 on Larry King when she opens up in detail. I might not be that interview either. He also supports her now since the success of TEOM. Vindication for both I am sure.

Re: Petition or nah (64,365) (64,375) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
"Utopian unicorn lambs" "minority"? No thanks. All of Mariahs loyal fans are unparalleled and we all are in the minority at this point. A legend can sell albums without loyal fans. It's called matketing to the right demographic and hype for the project. Comparisons unnecessarily not needed. I do agree with your post about her social media though.

Re: Poor Mariah (64,357) (64,361) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I understand what you guys are saying but lets not pretend Nick or Tommy are innocent. Tommy was abusive and tried to sabotage her career. Wendy, Jarule, and even Jennifer Lopez admit it was management to blame. I loved Nick. I believed he was a sweet guy until I saw his behavior during and after the divirce. He says he loves her but then acts like a child when the media can see. I firmly believe Mariah tried to make it work but the bottom line is her priorities during marriage was different than his. Bottom line is, he was 11 years younger than her. He was becoming bigger. In my opinion she helped him more than he helped her emotionally. Mariah's main issue is trust and feeling secure. He ruined that for her. I believe Mariah's actions and behavior could have made it easier for him to walk away. To say he or anyone else is not to blame or is more innocent to put extra highlight or the focus on Mariah's actions is stupid. She hurt her image by marriage to him. 2008 year is a great example. Mariah looked confident, fierce, musically dominant, and happy then. The week after she married, everything started to decline in music sales and priority. The confdent single woman wasn't there anymore. Her and Tommy still speak. She has admitted to it publicly and so has he. He also admitted and apologized for the abuse in his book. The obsession over Stella is ridiculously overrated and at the same time relevant. This notion that Mariah is incapable and can't manage her life or her kids, when she pays her employees not the record label is uneducated, biased, stupid, and a stupid fan bandwagon. I side with Mariah but at the same the lambs are doing the most and talking the most. Madonna 11 years older, is worse and her fans are more supportive of her than the lambs are of Mariah. Then again Mariah speaks to the mentally ill very well. I just don't understand the lambs lately.

Mariah Carey (64,144) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Can we all just sit back and appreciate why Mariah Carey is Mimi. She went through hell while being a legend at the same time. She would have been a legend even if she retired at age 30. We can say many things about her such as drinking alcohol or being an alcoholic. That she dresses horrible for her age. That she is not making the right career decisions that we would like as fans. After losing Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Prince in horrible circumstances related to drugs or medicine, I am pleased that Mariah Carey remains a legend in her own right. She doesn't do drugs. She isn't part of the sex music industry where women are taking advantage of every day. She stays in her own circle with people she trusts and takes this pressure like a pro. She deals with the issues on hand, in her own way, and on her own time. With the money that she has I could imagine how easy it would be to turn the other way but she hasn't. With all the scrutiny that she has to deal with everyday and all the people including fans, that tell her what she needs to do and when she needs to do it, I am proud that she has not faltered. Do you guys realize how easy it would be with the scrutiny she goes through to have a breakdown. Believe it or not I feel that being in her own circle has allowed her to manifest time within her own legend status. I would rather Mariah Carey makes mistakes as a real person and be scrutinized rather than do drugs and have many sex with many different industry people. Everything that she is going through is things that real people deal with such as insecurities, trying to have the best image to the people that we are around, and trying to figure out what's the right thing to say and when to say it. She is also being scrutinized for her questionable behaviors around her children but we all know that she loves her children. Mariah Carey is a fighter and she reminds me of the phoenix. She is in her own circle but she doesn't care what people think. It works to her disadvantage if she's making bad mistakes but when everything is great it works for her extremely well. I wish that someday she will be appreciated for being a phoenix. At the end of the day someone who is worth over a half a billion dollars will always be despised by regular working people in those who feel that they are better than them. I never felt and I still don't, that Mariah Carey felt better than her fans or that she hates people. Every person that you see in interviews, that speaks about her, says how humble and gracious she is. I feel that despite her insecurities and her issues, she really does try to do the right thing for the right people. So we all should cherish that we have a real human being going through real human things and this human being so happens to be a legend and a superstar. She is dealing with these issues instead of ignoring them. I feel that she will eventually come around and ever since American Idol, I feel that she has been doing the best that she possibly can to get her image to the right place. We should appreciate her hard work and the effort that she has put it in her live performances. Also we should appreciate the legend that is Mariah Carey.

Re: Mariah's World is still a go (64,106) (64,118) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I am 24 years old. I was born in the 90s and I hate Santa Clause. Santa is a fake image that ruins childrens' hearts once they find out he is not real. Back to the topic which is; some old fans from the 90s are stuck on something high. Unless E news makes a statement or I see an article with your perceived (delusional) family member as the author, I will cite what I see on a credible article, as facts. In school they teach children to learn how to get useful information from credible sources instead of ideas. They ask the students to create and seperate their new ideas from their own already formed opinions. This in return provides the children with perspective relating to what's real and what's not. It also allows them to develop facts based upon credible sources. In conclusion, the children will understand the difference between a fact from an opinion. I would suggest you to go back to school and learn it again. I was taught to to perceive facts from a credible standpoint. Thank you and have a great day.
