About Licia from USA: I think I'm Mariah's oldest fan lol.

Oprah interview (95,741) by Licia from USA
That was a really great interview. I love when she leaves Divariah in the basement and let's Mariah shine. I can't wait for the book. I'm so surprised to hear what she said about her mom. I never thought their relationship was like that. This book is going to be interesting and I was skeptical. I thought it would be all rainbows and unicorns. Seems like she's really going there.

Out Here on My Own is one of my favorite songs from Fame. Mariah definitely did it justice. This is one of the best surprises for me.

Save the Day (95,040) by Licia from USA
I just popped in to give some props on this song. It's amazing. I love it. I can't believe we got music like Crapfinity and the Sh*t I Shouldn't Have Made remix when she had stuff like this song in the vault. I can't wait for the new album.

Re: Nick (94,651) (94,653) by Licia from USA
Nick was wrong for what he said. I hope he really did learn from his mistake.

Anyway, that second paragraph was complete and utter bs. I'm sorry those idiots marching bother y'all so much. Despite what y'all believe not all black people are criminals and not all of us are marching because we feel criminals don't need to get punished or that the cops are just being meanies. They are marching because people like Breonna Taylor (who wasn't a criminal btw) died unjustly and it has been happening far too often. If they did something wrong they definitely deserved to go to jail, but in a few of these situations the punishment did not fit the crime.

In 2020 I've learned you can march for gay rights, the right to not to wear a mask in a pandemic, the right to bear arms, but you can not march or take a knee against police brutality or just be black.

I already know and am prepared that nothing too good or what I want to be addressed will be leaked. I've made peace with it. Lol.

I love the cover. I said I wasn't going to read it until y'all did, but y'all know I'm getting my copy.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey shares heartbreaking song (94,322) (94,325) by Licia from USA
I knew somebody would have an issue with her standing up for Black Lives Matter. Anyway, I appreciate her for showing support. I already know if this were for any other issue this wouldn't be a problem. *shrugs*

Re: What More Can I Give? (94,307) (94,310) by Licia from USA
As a black woman I am proud that people are protesting and fighting for change. We just want people to hear us and understand why we feel unsafe. George Floyd never should have died in that way. No one deserves to die that way considering what they say he allegedly did.

It's unfortunate that the protests are being overshadowed by the riots and the looting. ThIs sucks because I know that alot of the people that's doing this are not protesters. These are a group of people from all races and ethnicities whose soul purpose was to cause unnecessary chaos and they know the media won't focus on or show too much of the peaceful protests that are happening all over the world.

I'm sad about the whole situation because the riots and looting seem to give people another reason to ignore the real underlying issue which is that many people (who happen to be black) have lost their lives unjustly at the hands of people who are supposed to serve and protect.

Lmao Robert-Anthony hush. J/k. Glad I could provide some sort of comic relief. 2020 has definitely been a sh*t show.

Oh wow. I've been sleeping all day from working last night. I had no idea about the 1pm curfew. I need to check and see what it is for Houston.

I started not to even click on it, but I'm glad I did though. Anything else she has to say will fall on blind eyes because I won't see it. I'm going back to passing her name up. Lol.

Re: Ultimate disrespect (94,273) (94,278) by Licia from USA
Well Nikki I actually didn't respond to you. I responded Ribbon. That's who I was having a conversation with. The reason I didn't read your 2 paragraphs is because I knew what you wrote was a story straight out of a fairytale. None of the stuff you say is facts. It's all assumptions or made up stories to justify bad behavior found in Wikipedia. As much as I love to read, I can't be bothered to read crap. Have a blessed day.

Re: 8th Grade (94,239) (94,243) by Licia from USA
This is one of the 3 songs from Caution I still listen to. It gets played daily. Everything is on point from the vocals to the production.

The only thing I don't like is that I really don't understand how the lyrics correlate with the title of the song. I believe she tried to explain it in an interview, but I still didn't get it. I t look over that little blip though because it's a great song regardless.

Re: Everything Fades Away (Remix) (94,215) (94,218) by Licia from USA
I'm going to post a list from each album minus these songs I've already revisited or refuse to listen to (Everything Fades Away, The Roof, The Wind, Crapfinity, and Sprung). I don't think my list of hate is that big. Lol.

Re: Ultimate disrespect (94,206) (94,209) by Licia from USA
Ribbon I couldn't even be bothered to read that mess. So from your response I'm guessing it was said she wasn't messing with Banaka while with James and she didn't have her kids around both men? Lol.

Re: Everything Fades Away (Remix) (94,195) (94,208) by Licia from USA
Bill I really tried, but it's still a no for me. It's not a bad song nor do I hate it. It's just not grabbing me. I really wanted to like it because the vocals are incredible. You can tell exactly what era this song came from just by the vocals. Give me another song to try. Lol.

OK Bill i'll give this song one more try before I completely write it off. I feel attacked. Lol.

Re: Ultimate disrespect (94,186) (94,187) by Licia from USA
Yes. I've slowed down on my Banaka Tanaka hate train. I still dislike him and this situation, but not enough to dwell on it. I try to avoid all topics pertaining to him.

Anyway, I did figure out Bow Wow and Kandi. I knew it was her from the first performance. While I'm happy she was the first woman to win, I definitely wasn't a fan of any of her performances. He just didn't sound so good. I can't believe they've sent so many legends home early in the competition. I agree Gladys definitely deserved. That Chandelier performance was epic.

Re: Ultimate disrespect (94,173) (94,184) by Licia from USA
Ribbon they're just exhausting at times. It's 2020. They haven't been together in forever. We get it, you still hate him. Hell I can't stand old Tommy, but I stopped hating him many moons ago. To have so much hate for a person you don't personally know is unnatural. Lol.

Edward I know. You forgot to add if you have the audacity to walk away from the queen instead of letting her walk away first you're definitely trash. Lol.

Re: Ultimate disrespect (94,162) (94,170) by Licia from USA
I don't think this is the ultimate disrespect. Should he have said it? Probably not, but I don't think it was that deep. Why does it even matter now? They been divorced forever. Lol.
