"New album" (49,058) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
I'm kinda annoyed at some of the lambs saying a new album with killer music is what we want. Umm did you all here have MIAMTEC? That is one of the best albums of her catologue. When you all say that it sounds unappreciative. I think this Vegas deal can be a good thing. It's stability also I believe she will tie in MIAMTEC with this concert. Maybe a Thirsty video? Also I see that she will be on the Ellen Degeneres show this Thursday.

Marcus (48,152) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
This isn't a competition of how many shows we have attended. I think I speak on behalf of all the lambs, that doesn't define how big a fan of Mariah you are. Your post just rang off as a little harsh "since then her live performances have decreased dramatically". That's why we are questioning you. 2013 saw some of the best Mariah vocals in the recent years. Example Jimmy Fallon, American Idol, New Years Eve, and GMA. So before you lose your mind over some stupid little argument, just realize it's not a fight worth fighting for sweetie.

Mariah's voice (48,143) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Idk what [...] talking about Marcus. But Mariah Carey in her worst will always slay all the current artists out there. She simply has [...] of this generation. She may not be the most popular artist but she definetly still has the voice. Idk if you checked out when she performed "The Elisove Chanteuse Show", but she had some killer vocal moments towards the end. I agree, do you like Mariah Carey? Or are you an Arianator sneaking their way onto this messageboard?

Meteorite sample (47,321) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
This sounds so good especially around the halfway point of the video. Watch the entire video patiently, you won't be disappointed.

The art of listening to a Mariah Carey collection (45,968) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Reading this thread makes me realize there are many different ways of listening to a Mariah Carey collection. Whether it be records or cassettes. There are so many different devices in which you can listen to her music. Here are the ways that I know of. CD player: has some imperfections but sounds classic. iPod (newer): sounds completely clear and you can hear every detail. iPod (older): sounds a little dated with the bass being a bit over the top and muffled. Records and vinyls: I have never used one of these and I would definetely in the near future be interested in investing in a record player. Cassettes: very 90's nostalgic. Radio: timeless, where the memories are spawned. There are many other factors that contribute to music quality and I would like to venture out and try as many as possible to touch on certain genres that Mariah has used. The devices I personally use are: the newest iPod nano 16gb (completely perfect, houses my entire Mariah collection) equipped with Apple's EarPods TM. A 2008-esque clunky digital alarm clock equipped with radio, a CD player, and an auxiliary slot. iPhone 4 with Apple's EarPods TM. I only have the essentials on this phone (MIAM). And that's about it. I am curious as to what other formats, devices, and equipment you guys listen to when listening to a Mariah Carey collection. Thanks.

Memoirs, Randy and Abraham (45,955) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
I love the points that you two have pointed out regarding MIAM and MOAIA. Memoirs is perfect the way it is and it does reflect on some of her previous work, while still being modernized. I loved everything about the actual CD itself (booklet, nostalgic feel, liner notes, overall package).

A personal interpretation on Jermaine Dupri, Mariah Carey's former manager (45,942) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Jermaine Dupri, Mariah Carey's official manager for about 11 months. Mimi had an array of different managers/management companies working with her. Shortly after departing from being on season 12 of American Idol, she hired Jermaine Dupri. During the time from November 2013 - August 2014 Jermaine has brought Mariah to a different level than ever experienced in her newer "eras". What he did was he used Social Media and her core fans together to hear her latest songs (ex. The Art of Letting Go). Despite the song failing to reach success on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, it did however leave an impact on R&B, digital, and social charts. It generated success for not being a "traditional" single. This was his first triumph, if you will, following his hiring. Mimi then had a variety of late night performances and interviews, (Jimmy Fallon, New Years celebration, WWHL with Andy Cohen on Bravo, tv shows: Extra, E. News), then the release of YME. Despite the setback of all these singles and using them as experiments in a way, she had a core track list with a plethora of other songs/demos that didn't make the album cut (Save The Day, Mesmerized). The album gets released via iTunes Radio, then sent for a US release the next week. Album sales aren't great. Factors to think of: illegal downloads; high price, lack of a major single. The intended target audience is her core fan base. Jermaine Dupri did his job to the best of his ability, I believe, and he peacefully bowed out.

Mariah rumors on twitter, re release (45,698) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Those rumors about the deleted tweet about 9/9/14 are completely false and were started up by @nick8fo on twitter. He constantly posts false Mariah news. Anyways, on a more important topic, I think a re release of MIAM would be genius. It would give her a chance to get the GP to discover this gem. I think she should release the YDKWTD music video and release it to pop radio stations. Then make public appearances, just a few to get word out that the album is re releasing. And then announce tour dates. After the success of YDKWTD then release Thirsty as the second single, which would for sure garner success.

Photoshop, thankfulness, social media as a platform (45,428) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
These photoshop pictures are ridiculous and are pissing me off. It's like everyone is out to get Mariah. But anyways some of them don't look as bad as I thought tbh. Someone brought up a good point saying they could have tampered with it. I would also like to thank the webmaster for all that you have done. Mailing the newsletters, having to constantly put up stories, and editing each and everyone of these posts. It must take a lot of work and we are thankful for that. Another thing I would like to take advantage of is using social media as a platform to help communicate with the fans and do a little self-promo. I would like to see you guys on twitter, because it makes it so easy and instant to share news about Mariah. My twitter is @MariahCarey2014. And my Instagram is @JustinAlamillo. It would be nice to see you all on twitter and Instagram. Again thank you so much webmaster, I know it takes so much work to keep this site up. Thank you.

Paul D - Mary J Blige, America the beautiful, and E=MC2 (44,570) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
I couldn't agree with you anymore. She covered the song exceptionally well. I honestly am interested in buying me some Mary J Blige music. I also really like Mariah's version of America The Beautiful. It almost sounds like it came straight out of the Charmbracelet era. Speaking of eras, Mariah really looks like how she did in the E=MC2 era in the hot tub pic.

The elusive state of mind (44,538) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
There is absolutely no way Mariah did this album and just expects it to sell with absolutely no promo. I think she is going to wait maybe a week or two and really just blow up, I want more than YME promo. I don't think it's possible for E=MC2 or TEOM promo withJ Jermaine. Maybe for her next label. But she needs "pull down them Tom Fords and act like you see" - as someone else said.

Mariah's "fakeness" (44,440) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Are you guys serious? I am so disappointed that you all agree she was being fake on NBC. She was definitely being herself. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I'm disappointed you are acting non-lamb like. "Fake" are you serious?

iTunes Radio (44,003) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
The whole iTunes Radio streaming is a GREAT idea. Because the album was going to be leaked anyway, and this helped combat that by having the listens actually count towards something. Now her album is #25 on iTunes in the US and #9 on the pop charts in the US. This album is getting positive reviews from the critics, I have yet to hear a negative comment from them. I think this album will definetely sell a lot of copies, maybe not in the debut, but in the long term. And I honestly think this album has the potential for a Grammy because of the pure vocals.

Me I am Mariah the elusive chanteuse (43,896) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Meteorite is literally everything. I love it so much, it's like so current, she is ahead of the curve. Make It Look Good was amazing, it really gives me It's A Wrap vibes. And the beginning of One More Try gives me Can't Let Go vibes. Everytime I listen to the album, it gets better and better every single time. [...] And rumor has it that the chanteuse is performing at American Idol tonight in LA. Hope this is true.

Fuse has "Mariah Carey Takeover" scheduled for May 6th. That's a good sign.

The new (silent) era (42,669) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Mariah has been very hush hush within the last week, no tweets or Instagram posts. On twitter one of her backup dancers tweeted a lamb saying she has a huge surprise and she can't wait to reveal it. A lot of people have been saying on UKMIX that she is planning a Beyoncé-sequel release on iTunes. There has been news that a "well known" artist is going to do that very soon, which has me wondering if it is Mimi. Wouldn't it be amazing to wake up to this on iTunes? All Mariah banners on iTunes and you have to buy the whole album.

Singles (42,624) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
So I think the original YME is done and has peaked. However the remixes are doing exceptionally well. I can't wait until May 6th. And I also can't wait to see which big record company she will sign with and maybe they will have a much better management like LA Reid or Benny Medina.

Mariah carey photo shoot (42,476) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
These photos that Terry Richardson has taken before are so risqué and controversial. I can't wait to see what he has in store for Mariah.

Album promotion whirlwind (42,448) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Guys I really think Mariah is starting to step it up with the album promotion. She just finished her listening party for the new album, she is going to be on the cover of Wonderland magazine, she just released her hot new remixes which are climbing the charts. #19 up 10 positions on Billboard's dance charts. YME is #36 on the Billboard pop songs, and is #38 for radio airplay. It is slowly rising, I believe it has the chance to crack the top 30.
(Thursday 3 April 2014; 1:08)
You're Mine radio impact (42,076) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
You're Mine is rapidly climbing up the radio airplay charts. Yesterday she was #48 and now she is #42 with +56 new spins. Check it out for yourself at kworb.net and then click on the radio category at the top of the page. The song has only been on the radio for 12 days and I think it's picking up fast. And if you want to see what radio stations she is on live, search for radio search engine and google her name, them it shows all the radio stations her music is playing on right now.
