About Antonio from Spain: Hi, I've been a hardcore Mariah fan for more than five years. I'm here to share my thoughts about her and her career with you guys :). My favourite albums are Butterfly and Rainbow, and some of my favourite Mariah songs are Breakdown, Underneath the Stars, Fourth of July, The Roof, Can't Take That Away, Close My Eyes, Butterfly, Heartbreaker and My All.

Glitter Blu-ray release on Europe? (70,340) by Antonio from Spain Merry Christmas, lambily. How are you all? I have fell in love with the Glitter soundtrack again and I can't wait to watch the film again. I would love to get it on Blu-ray and I've seen it's gonna be released on January the 3rd. You can already pre-order it on Amazon US. But I was wondering if it'll be released in Europe (you know how it goes with the regions and stuff) do any of you know? Much love. Least favourite Mariah Carey songs (54,217) by Antonio from Spain A very interesting question. Mmm, Everything Fades Away is a good song, lyrically and musically, yet it has never really touched me. I'm not a big fan of the Music Box album tbh. I don't like Just To Hold You Once Again or I've Been Thinking About You either (yet the Music Box song is a personal favourite of mine). I like the whole Daydream and Butterfly albums. I'm not really into Did I Do That from Rainbow. From Glitter I don't like If We, from Charmbracelet my least faves are You Got Me, You Had Your Chance and Lullaby (it's not that they're bad, they're just not strong enough for me). From Mimi, Your Girl. From EMC2 I'd say Last Kiss. Memoirs is a very slow yet cohesive, nice album. From MIAM I can say I'm not a big fan of Camouflage, Supernatural or You're Mine (Eternal), which I could not stand as a single. From her #1's, I'd say that my least favourite is Always Be My Baby, I mean I think it's a great song, but I always skip the live performances of this song. I am just so tired of it. haha. #1's (53,645) by Antonio from Spain 1. Vision of Love. The introduction, the vibe, the vocals, the first single. Heaven. 2. Honey. Such a good song. Five delicious minutes. Sexy, classy, flirty. Great video. 3. Against All Odds. UK #1, beautiful song. Definitely in my top 5 Mariah songs. She sings it with so much feeling. (Thursday 21 May 2015; 23:29)

Make It Last remix (52,659) by Antonio from Spain Am I the only one who thinks of Can't Let Go when listening to the Make It Last remix of TGIFY? I think the instrumental opening of Make It Last syncs perfectly with the lines "Even though I try, I can't let go". I've always been curious about this. What do you guys think? Elusive in the UK (43,800) by Antonio from Spain Hey lambily. Does someone know if Elusive is gonna be released in the UK in physical format? Because there is no promotion on the HMV stores and in Wikipedia it says "UK - Digital download". I am pretty scared because I want to get me a physical copy. Thank you. (Monday 19 May 2014; 12:08)

Mariah not respected enough (43,384) by Antonio from Spain I just watched the Letterman interview once again and it made me think that Mariah is not respected by her label. Dave was right, she has sold 200 million albums. She is a legend. Leave her alone, stop caring about singles. To be completely honest, I personally don't care if there aren't any singles until the album release date. I prefer a coherent album from beginning to end like Butterfly was, where every song is worth listening and there is no filler. We already have #Beautiful, which is a masterpiece. Yes, we all now how the industry works, now it's all about the singles and blah blah blah, which is bull****. I have a feeling that this album is gonna be good, given the length of the tracks. She is extremely talented and not taken seriously. (Friday 9 May 2014; 11:57)

Ariana Grande II (43,034) by Antonio from Spain Hey Blake. To be honest I wasn't refering to you, I had read your message though. I had already thought of commenting on the topic days ago and today felt like the right time. I totally respect your point of view, and I am happy for her as well, wish her success. She has just started out and I'm excited for what she'll bring to the table. Actually, I would like to know, in what ways do you think she is imitating MC? Love to you all. Ariana Grande (43,018) by Antonio from Spain I think that some lambs have been incredibly harsh on Ariana Grande without any reasons. I like Ariana a lot, I've listened to her Yours Truly album several times and I'm a hardcore Mariah fan and I don't see those many similarities. Yes, she can do the whistle, whatever, and "The Way" is reminiscent of some Mariah songs, yeah, okay. She's been influenced by Mimi because she has always looked up to her, I don't think she is trying to be the next Mariah and I feel bad for her for all the comparisons she is getting just because she is reminiscent of Mariah. Actually, I love the fact that they are making sure that she is known for her vocals. Move on and let that girl shine and enjoy the success she deserves because we all now she is far more talented than the singers of her generation, she doesn't need to take her clothes off. It just makes me so mad. Why so much hate? I completely respect that some people don't like her, but sometimes their opinions sound way inmature. Love to you all, family. Stevie Wonder confirmed on new album (42,540) by Antonio from Spain I was just checking #mariahcarey on Instagram to find out a pic of her in an interview with NYCGov, with thw caption ''Mariah on working with Stevie Wonder for the new album''. We saw the pic of him listening to a Mariah track, but this might mean duet? I would be so happy if this happened, it was a long time coming. (Wednesday 9 April 2014; 8:16)

Relations between songs (42,524) by Antonio from Spain In midst of all the album situation, I would like to escape from that for a minute and get into another fan topic. Lately, listening to ''Underneath the Stars'', ''Long Ago'' and ''My All'', I've noticed that ''Fourth of July'' is very reminiscent of ''UTS'', ''The Roof'' of ''Long Ago'', and ''I Only Wanted'' and ''After Tonight'' of ''My All''. Upcoming (and still untitled) album (42,393) by Antonio from Spain I think that with the whole anniversary thing over, Mariah and her team will start promoting the album. I don't think the album will be delayed, because it has already been delayed lots of times, and I strongly think that Mariah should release a strong single before May 6th so that the buzz rises a little. And I hope Mariah gives us some insight because this is kind of crazy. And I hope the wait is worth it. (Sunday 30 March 2014; 18:24)

Reply to Pablo (42,341) by Antonio from Spain To be completely honest, I don't know whether she has ever topped the list or not because when I started listening that, it was 2002 and I know that from that moment on Mariah has not even appeared on the chart if I'm right. It's a weird thing since We Belong Together and Touch My Body were big hits, but that's all I know. I think that TTR entered the list but I don't know if it hit the #1, I don't think so, yet it peaked at #1 on the Spanish singles chart for its sales. Ironically, I've just actually found out from a website that says that "Without You", "Honey", "Heartbreaker" and "When You Believe" all reached number one on the 40 Principales chart. The first time I heard about Mariah (42,330) by Antonio from Spain I think this would be a fun topic to discuss, what do you think, lambs? The first time I heard about our very loved MC was in the very late 1990's or very early 2000's, my cousin had recorded Music Box in a cassette, and my aunt was like "Don't you know who Mariah Carey is?" Lol. "Heartbreaker" was the first MC video I remember watching, but I had no idea of the "Rainbow" album, and btw, I was like 6 years old by then. I do remember the Glitter era, though, I remember seeing the CD in music stores and I loved the cover and I wanted it, and I also remember seeing the TV advert for the film. "Hero" and "Through the Rain" were the first two Mariah songs I really listened to, as "TTR" was on heavy rotation on a Spanish Music TV Channel (no wonder the song debuted at #1 on the Spanish Singles Chart) and "Hero" had been covered in a local singing competition show. "Charmbracelet" and "Through the Rain" were my first MC album and single. Tell me about the first time you heard about our queen. (Wednesday 26 March 2014; 10:49)

Secret plan: JT collaboration? / new single? (41,966) by Antonio from Spain Yo lambily. Hope you're all well, send you lots of love. I honestly think Mariah has a secret plan, I think that something secret is behind the curtains. This whole rumoured colaboration with JT, and the [...] interview uploaded to her Vevo. JT is a star, a recognised true artist who deserves his success, and him working with MC would be perfection, man, the guy can sing. It's very likely that this won't happen, but one can only hope. I also think that whether or not it's a colaboration with JT [...], she's gonna release a new single soon, a more mainstream one, in the It's Like That vibe in order to boost the album. The Art Of Letting Go (41,879) by Antonio from Spain I'm going off-topic with the whole management thing, but I would like to point out how the song TAOLG is growing on me, I really do think it's gonna become one of my Mariah all-time favourite songs. I like the music, the vocals and the theme that surrounds the lyrics, as I can feel very attached to it. I think that together with #Beautiful, these are two great songs, as someone posted here earlier, she went out of her comfort zone. I feel that You're Mine is weaker, it's okay as an album cut, but I don't think it's a strong single, it sounds dated, and it reminds me of WBT, yes. I just can't wait for the album to be released. What the new album will sound like (41,642) by Antonio from Spain In her latest interview, Mimi has stated that the album would have uptempo songs and also the typical ''miserable'' Mariah songs that we all love, at least I do. I hope they're in the line of ''Petals'', ''Looking In'' and ''Languishing''. She said she worked with several producers who worked with her on TEOM, so I have high expectations about what the new album will sound like. As for now, I quite like all the singles she has released (including Triumphant), #Beautiful was very innovative, and it sounded great, TAOLG sounded good as well, the song has really grown on me, with YM(E), it's fun, I like the video as well, but it's definitely not one of my favourite Mariah songs, not at all. I really don't care about Mariah not having more number ones as long as we still have good music. Oh, and I'm sad TAOLG is not the album title, because to me, it was a beautiful title.
