About Otti from Belgium: I love bodybuilding and Mariah Carey!

Demi (63,577) by Otti from Belgium
Mariah Carey is always surrounded by jealousy and hate. Do you know why? Because she has it all. Think of her video's like "Honey", "Heartbreaker", "We belong together". If you compared her with her competions like Whitney and Celine, who are only famous by their songs. Every young female copies Mariah. From Britney to Demi, but they forget one thing, Mariah has the voice, and she can do whatever she wants with her voice. The big hair, body en sexiness, but her songs are too good to. And Miss Demi is so frustrated, when she starts to hate, with no reason. Haters gone hate. Ariana can't sing, she is a good imitator, she proves that more than once, from Shakira to Britney.

New shows in Europe (60,666) by Otti from Belgium
Last night, I swaw a clip on YouTube of her show in Glasgow. She even sang "Loverboy". Love the big flags. I have to say the shows in Europe look much better than her number ones show in Vegas.

Re: The 90s (60,632) (60,665) by Otti from Belgium
Explain to me what do they mean with "10 cent words"? I thought "Butterfly" has her best written songs, "The roof", "My all", "Honey", "Breakdown".

Album title (60,633) by Otti from Belgium
I always liked her one word titles. Starting with "Emotions", "Music Box", "Daydream", "Butterfly", "Rainbow", "Glitter" ("All that glitters" initial), "Charmbraclet". When TEOM came out, I was a little bit chocked, she breaks the rules, with this more rebel title, but works out well on the end. After that she never used a one word title, I hope she's gonna do back a one word title, a verry powerfull one.

Indeed, the video "I still believe" is perfection, and yet so effortless. Mariah at her best. Glamour and sexy. One of my favorite videos of her. Along with all the videos from "Butterfly". And "Sweetheart" from Number Ones has a sexy video. Mariah was always ahead of her time.

My all (54,336) by Otti from Belgium
The appearance in Paris, she reminds me of that performance of "My all" at the Pavarotti and friends, wich is one of my all time performance of her. The curly hair, black short dress, big earrings, and the way she steps into the mic is epic.

To Mimi L (54,291) by Otti from Belgium
I love your last post, I was thinking the same. Mariah is a hard working women. 18 number ones, more than 250 millions sold, touring the world. I love her promo tour lately, it's nice to see her to promote her work. The voice is getting better with every performance. It's sad that your own brother turns on you. But why now, is beyond know. But like Mariah once said, you can't have it all, being succesful and happy at the same time. It's the price she's going to pay, sadly. I hope she comes out strong.

Your post were spot on about the overrated Beyonce, sorry, I'm not a hater. Beyonce's career is so drama free and calculated. She is always kind to other female singers. And I know why, she has no wannabe singers that looks or sound like Beyonce. Mariah is always, been linked to other singers (J.Lo, Christina, Jessica Simpson, Leona, Ariana). But there is more, because Beyonce is black (sometimes). She is like the black female singer that the media needs, to be politically correct. That's why she is so overrated at the Grammy's. When need to give this black women a Grammy, so the world can see we are not racist at the Grammy's. Mariah is biracial, and that's not easy to classify. Mariah's career had many public dramas, like the label thing at Sony, breakdown, two divorces. That's why I'm always supportive to MC. She writes and produces her own material, sings her lungs out of her body, and still so underrated.

L.A. Reid (53,966) by Otti from Belgium
Some people don't get it, what L.A. Reid said about "another number one for Mariah is not going to happen" or something like that. He's not doubting Mariah's talent. With his statement he blames the radio stations, media not playing songs from older artist, he also named other artists who have hard times to get their music played on the radio. L.A. Reid is a clever bussinessman. Once a again, Mariah Carey is still so underrated, "#Beautiful", "You don't know what to do", songs that easy could be number ones. Even Beyonce's "Drunk in love" went to go to the number 2 spot and received a Grammy, and that was a really bad even not sung song. It was like she was talking in that song.

Back on track (53,727) by Otti from Belgium
Let's be thankful, after all the storm, a rainbow will appear. Since Mariah is back with L.A. Reid, everything is going well. The promo for the album is great, singing the first number one "Vision of love" and the last single "Infinity". I think it's a great idea. I really love the interviews she is giving lately. She is more comfortable and open. This album is a big welcome, to put Mariah back on the map. Once again, L.A. Reid knows how to promote MC, and make her drama free. This "number ones" album will clean the way for a huge comeback. I also love how she sounds lately. Especially her lower register. She's back were she was during "#Beautiful". With her "vision of love" there is so much more to come.

Honey (53,352) by Otti from Belgium
I would like to say few things about the song "Honey", the remix with The Lox and Mase. It's one of my favorite up tempo song by MC. The video, I think, was way too sexy, at that time, especially the helicopter scene, when Mase pulled Mariah up from the jetski, and she landed on his lap, while turning with her butt in that swimsuit. While he is raping her, you can see Mariah raps some lines along. The song full of sexuality and dubble meaning, is genius. The beat gets never dated. Sounding so sexy and free. Most of all her attitude in the video, is so [...]. Like bring it on haters.

Yes she is a human (53,173) by Otti from Belgium
As a fan since 1997, "Butterfly" era, I knew Mariah as a hard working person. So I knew there was something wrong in her private life since the shoulder injury and the divorce drama. Because after AI, Mariah was back in full force, looking hot and slim in the "#Beautiful" video. And the single was perfect. Last year was not easy for Mariah, her label didn't support her, the shoulder injury, divorce, copy cat Ariana, management changes, the album postponed, fans who losed faith. But I always stay true as a fan, Mariah did so much since she saw the light of day as a singer. I knew this interview would come.

Infinity (52,764) by Otti from Belgium
Some fans or lambs (call it what you want) are really hard on Mariah. "Infinity" is listed number 19 on the "number ones" album, not somewhere between "Love takes time" and "I don't wanna cry". What I want to say is that the game has changed, "hate the game not the player". "Infinity" comes after "Touch my body", which was a catchy fun number one. When had Celine or Janet their last number one? The fact that it has more appeal to "non-fans" is a good sign. More than 3 million views on YouTube. That's LA Reid stragery. I remember when "TEOM" got a huge success, LA Reid explained Mariah has a solid fanbase and she makes more new fans from all ages. The most hurting thing I hear on this board is that the song is not worth to be a number one, why this negative prediction from lambs? I hope Mariah never read this board, despite some really good post from Baby, Ethan and Jon.

Why you mad? (52,549) by Otti from Belgium
When "We belong together" came out, I was thinking this is a new way of singing a ballad, the beat is different and the singing is faster, in Mariah standards. "Through the rain" was a typically Mariah ballad. But did not work in the US. And so is "Infinity", it's "Someday" anno 2015. That's way she is still around. Do you hear something about Celine or Janet? Many non-fans love the lyrics. Thank God, to get Mariah at number one, we need new fans. We lambs should be thankful for what Mariah gives us. It could be different, choosing to live on an island living her life, instead of making music.

Infinity isn't forever (52,332) by Otti from Belgium
After the second listen, I fell in love with "Infinity". And it's still growing. Lambs and fans don't forget when label people decide to release a song, it's is not just after one listening. They hear the song all the time in a clear audio. I remember hearing WBT for the first time, I liked the song, but I was thinking is this the kind of song that radio stations are gonna play? Now it's a classic. "Infinity" is gonna work for radio. One more note, stop comparing MC with singers at their prime. Mariah at her prime did way better.

To MC1989 (52,111) by Otti from Belgium
Ironically, the first time I heard "Someday" and "Love takes time" was on the "Number ones" album. AndI fell in love with these two songs. And they are still two of my favorites until this day. I love "Someday" lyrically and vocally. Lines like "one you gave away will be the only one you're wishing for" and "you're gonna pay 'cause baby I'm the one who's keeping score". And ofcouse the whistle note on the end. I hope she is gonna sing this song as a revenge. Haha. With "Love takes time" and "Someday" Mariah was far behind her time.

Help (51,916) by Otti from Belgium
The other day I was on Mariah's twitter page, and there was a video clip posted (I guess by a fan), and there was playing an uptempo song, I never heard before. Is that a snip of "Infinity"? It sounds really good. It has drums all over the song. I'm dying to know the name of the song? Can someone help me?

I love reading your last post. "Number ones to Infinity" is the "Charmbraclet" of this era. It's gonna clean the way for a huge comeback. I hope "Infinity" is gonna marks Mariah's 19th number one. I love how she is back on track with her communication.

Nostagia (51,497) by Otti from Belgium
My older brother was a fan of "Music box" since "Without you" was huge in Europe, along with "Dreamlover", "Hero" and "I'll be there" and later "Endless love". While I didn't pay that much attention to Mariah Carey, I thought she was another great vocalist along with Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, who had also big hits at the same time with "Whitout you". But the "Daydream" era, I don't know how, but did slip away. But then summer of 1997, I was at my cousin's house, watching MTV, when a video start with a girl captured at a chair, in a big mansion. We were really surprised that that girl was Mariah Carey, who we know from clips like "Without you" and "Hero". The video and song were verry sexy. From then on, I start to pay more attention to her work, with more releases from "Butterfly" like "The roof" and "My all". I thought this singer is brilliant and knows how to stay relevant. A year later I bought "Butterfly" and later that year "Number ones", which made me a fan for life. "Someday" and "Love takes time" become my favorites of her older number ones. "I still believe" which I thought was an older number one of her, until I saw the video, becoming one of her best video's ever.

B from USA (51,307) by Otti from Belgium
You are spot on with your last post about the Grammy's. I couldn't said that better. B is so overrated by the Grammy's. And Mariah is so underrated that even non fans think it's a shame. But you can't deny more than 200 million albums sold, 18 number ones, without any support from the Grammy's. If they like to award autotune, then they have to change their awards category, Like the award for "Best autotune vocals" goes to Katy Perry. Or the award for "Best spoken r&b song" goes to Beyonce "Drunk in love", and so on.

Jono from USA (51,096) by Otti from Belgium
Right said. But if it was true what Mariah answered, than I like it. She just put her at her place. And if I was Mariah I would be rude. But Mariah is above her. Katy is hot, because she is all autotune and dance music, and that is wat kids love these days. No voice ability needed. Just being sluttery and lipsync on an autotune voice. And that she keeps mentioning Mariah in her songs, means there is so much hate and love.

Why are you so obsessed with the illuminati?! (51,059) by Otti from Belgium
There's is this video talking about Mariah and illuminati. I only saw the second part, that was about Mariah. They said that the videoclip of "Honey" contains messages of illuminati, like jumping in the pool (washing away the past), showing her sexy body (forever youth), ending up with a boyfriend on the beach (forever love). And they also bring the "Obsessed" video up, the idea of the rapper in the video is also a sign of illuminati, like fame and fortune. We fans know (thank God) that the videoclip of "Honey" is loosely based on the movie "James Bond". And the videoclip of "Obsessed" contains elements from the movie "Mean girls". From the first line "Why are you so obsessed with me?" to the tragic bus accident ar the end of the video. Please stop the nonsense.

Live (50,894) by Otti from Belgium
This [censored] performance is live, like she is standing there. Even the "find the way" is live. And I think it was a clean performance, it's good promotion for Las Vegas.
