Singers pay tribute to Etta James

Stars are remembering Etta James, who died today at age 73 in California, on Twitter, and many of them singers who were inspired by her.

Mariah Carey: "Rest in peace to one of the world's most influential singers Etta James, you will be missed."

Steve Winwood: "Etta James... You'll be missed."

Dita Von Teese: "Sad to hear we've lost the great Etta James. Now playing All I Could Do Was Cry/I Would Rather Go Blind."

Flo Rida: "I'm deeply saddened by the passing of the Great Etta James and I will be forever grateful for the gift she blessed me with." And, "Etta James I dedicate 'Good Feeling' to you. RIP to a legend."

Pink: "RIP to the late and great Etta James. Your voice and your fight inspired me and many. I love that through recordings, people can live forever."
