They revealed their love to the world only weeks ago. And despite not being seen together recently because of work commitments, it seems Mariah Carey and James Packers romance is still going strong. The singer, who currently has a residency at Caesars Palace Colosseum, in Las Vegas, dedicated her performance of her hit song Hero to the billionaire on Wednesday.
According to TMZ, he had jetted in to see Mariah, 45, as he has been managing work commitments around the globe since they were last together. She told the audience: "I have a new heart tonight" as the crowd whooped and cheered. Mariah continued: "James is in my heart tonight."
She then dedicated the song to her 47-year-old beau, who appeared to be in the audience. According to the website after her concert the pair went for dinner at the Andiron Steak and Sea in Las Vegas.
James and Mariah had a very public unveiling as a couple when they enjoyed a Mediterranean break three weeks ago. They spent time together sailing around the Balearic Islands, including Ibiza and Formentera, on James super yacht Artic P.
Sources close to the songstress told TMZ claim father-of-three Packer had been "aggressively" pursuing her and was "obsessed" with her music after he met her at her concert in Las Vegas in April. There meeting has led to Mariah performing her very first gig in Israel, which will see her bank a cool half a million dollars.
The gig will take place in August in Tel Aviv. According to TMZ, is going to give a one off performance in city, with the tickets being sold at $65 each. Mimi was introduced to Israel by James. The couple travelled there together in June, and on seeing the country the singer fell in love. James is a friend of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mariah has been dividing her time between performing her lucrative spot at Caesars Palace Colosseum, in Las Vegas, and spending time with her new man. Mariah certainly isn't doing the performance for the money - according to Forbes she is worth around $535 million.
She came in at 10th position in 2013 alongside hip hop artist Nicki Minaj as one of the world's highest earning female performers. The pair both earned $29 million, with Mariah taking home $18 million for her stint as a judge on American Idol.
Mariah, who has two children, twins Moroccan and Monroe, both four, has had 18 number one hits, and made fortunes from sales of her merchandise and perfume. She split with her husband Nick Cannon in 2014 after their marriage broke down.
