Mariah Carey isn't shy when it comes to flaunting her famous curves. The singer is known to celebrate her figure in a bevy of skimpy outfits. And it seems that Mariah has always been a fan of the "less is more" approach to clothing.
Proving that she really is a trendsetter, the blonde bombshell rocked the underwear as outerwear look long before the Kardashian/Jenner clan jumped on board. In a throwback image shared on her Instagram, the musician can be seen wearing a see-through red mesh top.
With her black sequin bra visible through the flimsy fabric, it's fair to say the US babe gave onlookers a perv's eye view of her cleavage. Showing off her wild side, Mariah was almost unrecognisable as she embraced a punk rock attitude. Donning thick black eyeliner and a quiff hairdo, the starlet looked nothing like the diva we know and love now.

Explaining the look, the Obsessed singer's longtime make-up artist Kristofer Buckle wrote: "TBT to when Mariah was a punk chick for a photoshoot we did."
Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to react to the rare snap. One happy viewer said: "I don't know how I've never seen this picture before, but I love it!" Another wrote: "This is everything." Eager to see more, a follower pleaded: "Bring back old school Mariah, please."
