She hasn't always been a fan of Mariah Carey. But it looks like Cameron Diaz, 44, had a change of heart as she's seen posing beside the Touch My Body songstress in a photo posted to Instagram by sister-in-law and real-life bestie Nicole Richie. The daughter of Lionel Richie posted the undated photo with a large group, including Cameron and Jennifer Meyers to the social media site on Monday, captioning it: "Happy Monday my lambs."
Mariah is currently preparing for her concert with the Stuck On You singer in Hollywood on Monday night. Cameron is visible in the back, standing beside the longtime diva who is still dressed in her glittery costume.
Almost 10 years ago, Mariah and Cameron had a bit of a confrontation over the actresses' choice of words regarding her music. According to the New York Daily News, back in 1998, Cameron had said in an interview that is anyone wanted to "torture" her, all they had to do was tie her up and make her listen to Mariah's music.
Mariah didn't take it very well and told FHM magazine the next year that she confronted Cameron when she saw her in New York. "People think that I'm this little girl-next-door and they can say stuff about me and I'll never check them if they run into me. Wrong. I decided I should seize the opportunity to straighten a few things out," the singer confessed.
She says the Sex Tape actress insisted the interview had been taken out of context and "her words had been twisted". The Fantasy songstress admits she gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Mariah has been doing a string of performances lately, finishing off her Vegas residency on July 20th. She then embarked on a 22-date concert tour alongside Lionel Richie two days later in San Francisco. Spanning three decades of hits, the bubbly blonde's set-list included classics like Hero, Touch My Body, Heartbreaker and Always Be My Baby.
Mariah also treated fans to a number of sexy outfits during the show, including an elegant floor-length scarlet gown, and a figure-hugging short leather dress. The duo are set to cross the United States over the next two months with the tour, hitting San Diego, Los Angeles, Dallas, New Orleans, Houston, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Chicago. The duo are performing Monday night at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
