It's time to dust off the sequins: Mariah Carey is brining her #1s tour Down Under next year. The last time Jame Packer's ex toured Australia was back in 2014 when she released her last studio album Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. The singer took to Twitter to announce the tour with a tweet offering hard-core fans the opportunity to sign up for presale access.
During Mariah's last tour media outlets reported the singer was struggling to shift tickets, with The Daily Telegraph claiming she'd slashed prices from $350 to $99.90 in a flash sale. Reviews at the time also panned the concert, with one Fairfax reviewer claiming the singer peppered her show with a series of lengthy breaks.
Although not part of a tour, Mariah did jet into Australia for a brief sojourn in 2015 to perform at then-boyfriend James Packer's Crown Casino New Year's Eve Party. She's set to hit Aussie shores in February.
