You may have heard that the queen of glam, Mariah Carey, is touring Australia next year and will be performing some of her most iconic tracks at some of the most unexpected locations around the country and anyone who is lucky enough to get their hands on tickets to this shows will be truly blessed. They also will most likely have the saddest wallets in history.
Tickets for Mariah's Australian "#1's Tour" went on sale earlier today and the cheapest tickets in the bunch will set you back ~drumroll please~ $170! Now, these are the cheapest tickets which means that if you're in a seated venue, you're probably going to be pretty far away from Mimi... but if you're in a standing-room venue, which, unfortunately, for some states is the case, you'll be paying quite a bit to stand in a venue where your view may be obstructed.
These tickets are $159 plus a booking fee and those in Queensland and Sydney are the unlucky cities stuck with the standing-room venues. Those in Perth, who will be seeing Mimi in the only arena on this tour, will have some seats available at this price however, tickets are limited.
Let us remind you that these are the cheapest tickets going, though... so you may want to sit down for this next bit. If you want to guarantee yourself a good ticket where your view of the stage is pristine in the seated venues, you can purchase a "Gold" level seat that will set you back a cool $225 per seat.
If you want to be a little bit closer to the action, you can also purchase a "Platinum" ticket that will cost $260-ish. Those tickets will get you close enough to that stage that you can see Mimi in all her glory, but if you want to be front and centre throughout the show to take in her full presence, well, you're going to have to pay $560 to get yourself in the first two rows!
