Mariah Carey showed off her iconic voice on social media during a casual joyride Thursday night (September 10).
"These days, even a car ride is uncommon but we made the most of it," the superstar captioned the video, which features her riding along in the passenger seat as boyfriend Bryan Tanaka drives, casually hitting the whistle notes while singing along to her latest single "Save The Day".
"If he won't and she won't, gonna have to learn to save the day," she crooned, nailing the studio version's ad libs before excitedly declaring, "This is my part," and jumping into her lower register.
"Save The Day" serves as the lead single for Mimi's upcoming album of deep cuts and previously-unreleased tracks, The Rarities, which she's taking out of the vault and releasing to her Lambs on October 2, just days after her first-ever memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, hits shelves on September 29.
