She is known for keeping her personal life and interests out of the limelight. But on Saturday evening Mariah Carey made the unlikely admission that she is fan of British TV commentary show Gogglebox after responding to two of its stars on social media.
The pop sensation, 50, tweeted a video of show staples Abby and Georgia as they praised the singer for saving an otherwise COVID-blighted festive season with her Mariah’s Magical Christmas Special.
While watching the show Abby was heard commenting: "I feel like 2020 has been saved by Mariah Carey," to which Georgia responded, "and that's all it took."
The R&B superstar subsequently shared the amusing video to her Twitter account as she posted laughing emojis and the accompanying caption: "Love this."
