Mariah having fun filming
Mariah Carey told MTV News that she's enjoying the filming of "All That Glitters". "It's like a secluded cocoon world where I quite enjoy not dealing with reality." Carey plays the starring role of an emerging singer named Billie. She is also producing the project. Eric Benet and Da Brat have roles in the movie. She collaborated with Rick James, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to make the soundtrack. It is good choice of musicians because the movie is set in the 80's, a time when they ruled the charts. The film has original music and covers. Carey would not tell which songs she's remaking for the soundtrack. "I can't tell you because somebody will bite the idea and try to put it out before me, you know, like always." "All That Glitters" is expected in the theaters in the Spring of 2001. (Manhunt)
