The end of Mariah Daily Journal
 A decision has been made to discontinue the Mariah Daily Journal website. I can not say why this decision was made, but I will say that I did not participate in or have any influence over this decision. It saddens me to see this website that so many of us have enjoyed over the years go, and I want to be clear that I did not give up on it or on MC. I also want people to know why the site is not being updated with the news that has come out in the past few days, even though the site is still up.
While I will not be updating a website for the time being, I will continue to support MC just as I have for the past 20+ years and I look forward to the new music. Since its original incarnation in 1998, MDJ was tirelessly maintained and updated by a series of loyal, dedicated fans, including Regina, Lynn, Liron, Casey, Maggie, and probably a few more I'm not thinking of. In addition, lots of fans served as correspondents, sending in information, pictures, and fan art. Lots of thanks and appreciation to all of them for their time and efforts!
Personally, I am happy to have been asked to be a part of a project that many of us made a part of our daily routine for many years. I met a lot of really wonderful people and new friends from around the world because of it, and I would not trade that for the world. (Jonny)
