Mariah Carey slipped into a seriously raunchy yellow gown yesterday for her performance at the World Blockchain Festival in Japan. The singer, 48, sizzled in the slinky sequin frock as she belted out her hits for the crowds at The Super Arena in Saitama City.
The Hero hitmaker commanded attention in the dress, which featured a daring plunge neckline and saucy thigh-high split. Adding heeled sandals and styling her hair into loose waves, Mariah let her enviable figure take centre stage as she sang her heart out for the adoring crowds.
Mariah has jetted to the cryptocurrency festival from Los Angeles, where she performed at the American Music Awards on Tuesday night. However, while she belted out her new single With You at the bash, fans immediately became distracted by her seemingly restrictive outfit.
The singer appeared unable to move in her hot pink gown, and simply raised one arm up and down in way of performance - leaving viewers in hysterics. They wrote in their droves on Twitter: "So no one is concerned that Mariah can't move her legs at all?" And: "Mariah came to sing but moving costs extra."
The chart-topper was not nominated at the awards, as her first studio album in four years is set for release in late 2018. With You follows the release of her sassy track GTFO last month, which many are speculating is about ex-fiancé James Packer.
The song was her first since the split, and heard her sing about a "knight in shining armour" who "took her life for granted" and "bulldozed" her heart. Mariah became engaged to the Australian billionaire in January 2016, but they had broken up by October.
