Feeling herself! On Monday (August 25), Mariah Carey took to social media to show the Lambily how she's setting her curls free in quarantine. "Another day of throwback curls! Whadya think lambs?" the icon captioned the stunning selfie, asking her fans to vote using the thumbs up and thumbs down emojis.
Naturally, Mimi's loyal Lambs flipped over the look, which she's been wearing more regularly during the pandemic. "Why are you so perfect?" one fan asked in the comments section of the post, while another wrote, "Curlyriah is always a double thumbs up" with a sparkling heart emoji.
Carey's latest selfie arrives on the heels of her new song "Save The Day", which serves as the lead single for her upcoming album of deep cuts and previously unreleased treasures, The Rarities. Features vocals by Ms. Lauryn Hill, the inspirational anthem samples of the Fugees' 1996 hit "Killing Me Softly," with Carey harmonizing over Hill's iconic lines in the bridge for a transcendent moment of pure R&B goodness.
Ahead of its release, the superstar debuted the track in a private Zoom listening party, where she praised the Fugees reworking of the Roberta Flack classic, dishing that the hip-hop collective's debut album The Score was her "go-to record to listen to" while on tour in the '90s.
