About TJ from Norway: I've been a fan since she released Vision of Love in 1990.

Re: Lead the Way (89,930) (89,940) by TJ from Norway
Funny that you would link that video Edward. I was in the audience that night and some parts was dubbed on the TV version. Other parts was just playback or what you call it. Her voice was in so bad condition because of a cold or something. She could hardly speak.

It's of course "All In Your Mind". It's mind blowing. Take another look at her rehearsal before singing on the Saturday Night Live show. Wow.

Re: My most precious item (89,667) (89,685) by TJ from Norway
I guess it's the "Vision of love" CD-Single. I don't know. My collection of singles are put in a box and it's been a while since I had a look at them. That's something I have to do this weekend.

Re: First Mariah item (89,648) (89,651) by TJ from Norway
The first item I bought was her debut album. The second one was the MTV Unplugged, and later Emotions (I had that album recorded on a cassette). I remember that I found the CD single of "Vision of love " in Copenhagen in 1992 but didn't buy it. I have regretted that decision ever since. I started collecting in 1993 when I bought "Dreamlover". Suddenly I had like 150 different CDs and singles.

Re: The Netherlands (89,637) (89,638) by TJ from Norway
Congratulations. And who would believe that Norway ended up at number 5? Too bad for Sweden (who was my favourite, next to Azerbaijan). Australia was lovely. Madonna on the other hand. I'm a big fan of her, but no.

Re: Madonna's BBMA performance (89,502) (89,503) by TJ from Norway
Most of my friends don't understand why Mariah need to wear bikinis on stage. I guess they have the same problem with Mariah, as others have with Madonna. 60 or 50? I don't see the difference.

Re: Whitney Houston (89,281) (89,293) by TJ from Norway
I agree. Mariah has the most octaves, but Whitney had the strongest voice.

I do agree on that one.

Icon award (89,188) by TJ from Norway
Is it just me, or was a lot of the lambs very happy that Mariah didn't win the year Janet got her award, arguing that it was only given to persons that had nothing left of their careers? I haven't read any of those comments this year. Anyone who remember?

Re: Caution 93k (89,096) (89,101) by TJ from Norway
Do you really think that Caution will sell 15,000 each month the next 5 years? It's not the way it works. For each day that goes, the sales will drop. I do like the album, and I do like a good joke. Thank you.

Unstable and in need of a psych evaluation? Please keep the discussion professional. Discuss the case, not the messenger.

Re: The last karaoke (88,942) (88,945) by TJ from Norway
You say: "So [are] we just [going to] throw away Through the Rain, Bye Bye, Mariah's Theme, Lead The Way, When You Believe, Never Too Far, I Still Believe, Right to Dream, Angel's Cry, Supernatural and a bevy of other [ballads] she's written and recorded after Butterfly?"

First of all, she didn't write "I still believe", and there's some crap on that list. Bye Bye? Really? Can't stand that song or sound. I guess we all have our own subjective opinions.

Re: Original Music Box track listing (88,528) (88,588) by TJ from Norway
I always thought of EFA as a pop song.

Re: On my way (88,497) (88,523) by TJ from Norway
Looking forward to hear what you think of the show. I hope that the concert will give you some time to relax and don't think about working.

Re: Original Music Box track listing (88,506) (88,522) by TJ from Norway
I guess I love EFA because I heard it in 93, when it was released in Europe. I was 16 at the time and everything Mariah did was just right (except for one or two songs on Emotions). I have never thought that the song isn't similar to the rest of the album. Maybe fans in the USA have the same nostalgic feeling about the US version without EFA.

Re: The singles this era (88,353) (88,355) by TJ from Norway
Even in Norway did Music Box sell more than 200,000, and that's a small country with less inhabitants than the number of people living in New York City.

Re: After the Caution tour (88,282) (88,291) by TJ from Norway
I just agree so much with you. Streaming is not the same as having the CD or DVD. The quality is much better in physical formats than on Netflix or Spotify. I just hope she will release some of her old concerts etcetera. I went to the Paris concert on the Charmbracelet tour. I remember they filmed it, and that it was supposed to be released on DVD. I just don't remember why it never happened. One of my friends is a huge fan of Madonna and she does release a lot of stuff for her fans. I know he is very satisfied with those releases. There's just so nice to play a concert from a to b. Mariah, do it. Please.

Re: Article: 5 Songs by Mariah Carey that should've hit #1 (88,053) (88,084) by TJ from Norway
Am I the only one who think it's a little strange that a journalist who claims to be a lamb, put Mariah behind Elvis when talking about how many number one hits they got under their belts?

Re: J.Lo's "management team" (88,012) (88,018) by TJ from Norway
Mariah is the God gifted musician/singer, and Jennifer is the best actress (and dancer) when you compare them.

Re: Butterfly (87,949) (87,958) by TJ from Norway
I guess that either way, how it was, we don't know the whole story about who is the true Mariah. I also believe that we wouldn't know Mariah as we now do, if it wasn't for the pre Butterfly years. I'm just glad she made those extremely good albums in that area. Wow, what a sound and voice. Who knows what kind of artist she would have been today if Tommy didn't give her that contract back then.
