About Mara from United States: I'm a Mariah fan since the debut. Been through her entire career with her and may not always agree with every single thing she does, But i will always come to her defense when she gets attacked for being misunderstood. I am not a blind fan and relate Mariah to a sister who I would tell in a minute if something seems wrong or something of that nature. I come to this board to discuss her with people who I feel are true fans and yes, some don't always praise her to the heavens every single moment but we all are here for the same reason and we do adore her.

I was holding back on commenting on that but somehow seeing her with that glass this time just rang an alarm. It has been an ongoing thing as we know, but literally a glass on the beach is really necessary? Even the clip with Shawn, there it was. It's never too early for a "splash" for Mariah. That is the reason for that bloated face and belly too and why her weight fluctuates so often, and also why her voice has such a dry sound and her speaking voice has aged to the point of a smoking 70 year old. Sorry for being so harsh but her speaking voice used to be so beautiful being smooth with that little bit of huskiness, now along with the splashes Dahhling and the diamonds, it just ages her. Diamonds are the only thing she cares about anymore according got her Ellen interview and yes, they are aging her too. I don't mean to sound like I'm being negative but I honestly don't know anymore. My show is coming up soon for the Beacon and I am more nervous than excited. I just hope she has it together. Last year and in 2014 she was flawless and especially after the disaster that was the tree lighting she had something to prove. Now, I'm not so sure what to expect. I honestly am worried about Mariah and all this talk about Charmbracelet which I have a soft spot for too since it was the first tour I saw Mariah live at (Trump Taj Mahal AC) and remember staying at the casino next to Taj and we were watching the top floor of the Taj imagining it was prob Mariah's room lol where the penthouse suites were and all the lights were on. Anyhow, I'm rambling like MC. I have been listening to TTR and MSG and almost brought to tears as I really wish she would come back. (Friday 2 December 2016; 15:52)

"This season" who knows, maybe Mariah and James did already have a commitment ceremony with the dress and that is another reason why MC wants that inconvenience fee, or JP jumped ship and left them with no season two storyline and that's why she feels he costed her money. Tanaka, Cruella and show (68,853) by Mara from United States Why do I feel like there was filming in Hawaii and this too will be included in the "reality show"? Sorry that is what it is. This story or eyewitness account of witnessing M and B in such great detail on the beach just screamed Stella. We all knew this was coming and I had a feeling when she announced so many shows in Hawaii especially around Thanksgiving. All the pics of Mariah cooking and Stella's mother there and Mariah going grocery shopping in that awful outfit. I looked at those pics that Stella posted of everyone having such a good time and living the dream and whatever else she added to the pics and I couldn't help but think Mariah paid for all of these people and the tag alongs and she is paying Stella and the rest at the same time. No wonder Stella is living the dream. She is draining MC's bank too. She will never let MC go. She has it made. Plus she is a reality tv star now too along with her entire family. I wonder what Mottola thinks of all of this. I know he was controlling and MC was not happy with him and I'm glad she was able to gain her freedom and enjoy her success the way she wanted to. But this group of people just seem like leeches. I honestly think this reality show was Stella's master plan all along and honestly her only goal, as everything else was used as a storyline for this master plan. Tour, relationships, meet and greets, basically everything was used with the exception of Vegas as that was done already. Everything else was for this show. I wonder when this lovely idea came into play. Was it at a party with Ratner and Stella was there, maybe James too? Only my opinion, but with all that is going on in M's life right now, it leads me to see nothing else. All in all though, I do believe she is into Tanaka. (Wednesday 30 November 2016; 20:33)

Mariah's World (68,433) by Mara from United States Well, I gotta admit, despite the downright reality show that it is, I believe this will be a hit and draw in the viewers. We have a name as big as Mariah Carey and the Kardashian formula, what more can the public ask for? I think the fact that Mariah has the final say in the editing, she will not let herself be a complete mess despite how much we cringe at the fact that it's the comeplete Kardashian formula. Also, the telling word in the promotion of this latest trailer is "this season on Mariah's World" sure makes it sound like it's more than 8 episodes and will end on a cliffhanger to make its way to come back. Could be why she still has the ring on and why they initially said James and Mariah may still end up together. I sure do think that Mariah is more of a couple with Tananka than she ever was with James Packer. Wow, what is real and what is scripted? Never thought I would say that about Mariah, but here we are. Disney (68,431) by Mara from United States Oh Mariah. All I can say is when she gets it right, she gets it right. I don't know what she did different with her makeup, but it was very Butterfly with the smokey eye and her eyebrows. I loved how she looked. Always loved her retro look in The Roof video and cannot express enough how I love her eye makeup in it. Her look was close to how much I love that look. Old Hollywood and classy timeless Hollywood legend glam was all out for that special. So glad she pulled that off especially since she will be aired on Thanksgiving and Christmas. That dress was pure class and oozed what she is, which is a young living legend. Yes, Mariah, you can accept that since you came into the business so young, that you became a legend younger than most. There is nothing to not be proud of with that fact. I love this look on he and hope it's back for the Beacon shows. I don't know what it is about the Christmas season, but Mariah always usually keeps it classic for this time of year. Perhaps it's due to AIWFCIY being a timeless modern day standard. Big improvement from the pink prom gown we got from Toronto. I love when she dresses in a way where the haters in Hollywood aka JLo and then some can't say a damn word about her. She is a force to be reckoned with and when she is on point there is nothing they can pick apart on her. (Friday 18 November 2016; 3:50)

Nick (68,428) by Mara from United States So Nick apparently is going to have a new baby with an ex girlfriend. She is 6 months along. I can't help but think how this is making Mariah feel. It's one thing to see someone move on and I'm not even going to say Nick had to see Mariah move on because I always felt Packer was Mariah showing Nick she can reach him with a billionaire. It's another thing to know your two babies are going to have a new sibling with a different mommie. knowing how emotional MC is, maybe this is another reason she is parading Tanaka around in addition to the show. I think those kids were exposed to him too quickly but it's not my place to go into that. I think it was all OK in the beginning that you wouldn't see any interaction with James and the twins, but then when we fast forward to even this August, to not see any kind of interaction when this man is going to be your husband and stepfather to your children, it was kind of awkward to me and that is what would give me ideas it wasn't a real relationship. Who knows, the are a lot of holes in this story and Lila hit the nail on the head. You never once saw these two and or their families interact without a full production. You never saw them quietly alone or spending time that really happened to be caught on film. It all seemed so staged. (Sunday 13 November 2016; 23:31)

Re: Paying to look trashy (68,238) (68,243) by Mara from United States May I just have to say I love your pic. I really wish Mariah would do a makeover and try out a different hair color or style. We know Mariah's hair so it will always be long but a little off is ok too and a different style would be welcoming. I miss the dark hair. She looks so exotic and has such a beautiful unique mix that not everybody has that. If she was darker again with a few blond highlights she still would have light but the dark mixed in is a look i miss. Mariah looks great with other colors. When she plays Bianca she looks amazing with black hair and I can imagine a beautiful red color on her too. She has the face for just about anything. Enough with the full blond MC. Especially if she is wearing the wigs for shows? What harm would a different color every now and then be? Also loved the white goddess flowing dress. That style blowing in the wind on stage really looked great on her. I think it complimented her quite well and with that style she doesn't have to worry about being compared every night as to being bloated or whatever as it is much more flattering and forgiving as opposed to a skin tight latex pink balloon looking mess. So now Mishka is involved with MC's style. Mariah needs to burn that entire pink mess for the Mexico shows and get new wigs. I remember during the Mottola days, when she must have been so unhappy and probably as crazy as this sounded, spent a lot of time in the bathroom literally taking baths or whatever. I remember her saying she wrote Close My Eyes in the tub and looking out the window seeing the orange clouds. She simply doesn't have enough time to focus and reconnect with herself. Nevermind us, the fans. Mariah needs to reconnect with Mariah. The true, real Mariah. Only then will the deeper more meaningful lyrics come, and I'm sure if she does this that the songs will just flow. She still has it. All those songs we all connected to came from a deep place. I just wish she would slow down a bit and put the charades away. Hell, I even thought we would get more of those type of songs when Roc and Roe were born but all we got was Supernatural, while it's a good song and captures the kids forever on a track, it really isn't taking me to a place where her head was while reflecting back on them. Ok I'm getting way to deep now but the fans that appreciate those type of Butterfly, Close My Eyes, Looking In, Petals and FLAB, type songs know what I am getting at. Back to what Edward mentioned though, maybe after the Christmas rush, in January when she usually goes to the islands, she could go on vacation, and a vacation away from Stella and her empowering people and just figure things out and clear her head. One thing the last two years for the Beacon show dates was she really was a vision in her timeless white sparkle and red dresses. I know we hate the ball gowns, but these were classy timeless dresses that she looked radiant in. Still had all the men gazing in awe at her as well as all the women in the audience. I said it before and I'll say it again, I really wish she would expose them and get it over with or out of her system. Remember how amazing she looked for the Christmas special too? That gold dress and the ones she wore while talking in the scenes supposedly from Aspen. I remember the two sexy and classy dresses she wore on her way to her Beacon shows too, one was an emerald green or teal dress and one was a stunning black one. Ok. I'm sorry for my rant - done now. Christmas season / appearance (68,055) by Mara from United States I am curious after the Mexico dates to see how Mariah perceives or portrays herself during the Christmas season, especially the Beacon shows. It always seems like MC tries to be more classy or timeless with her dresses and hair during the holiday season. Of course that was before she was photographed daily at paparazzi known hangouts. I honestly don't know what Mariah has against dressing classy. It seems she has a highly morphed idea that classy means prudish or non sexy. It is so not true. I wish she would get it in her head that less is more. I hate that she goes around town (I'm sorry but looking cheap) isn't she sick of her damn boobs yet? I am tired of looking at them. Clear up rumors (67,882) by Mara from United States So the 50 million story, is that true or not or do we not know? The reason I'm asking is because it is out there on every news source and she is literally being dragged for it. People are calling her a gold digger and that is a nice word compared to some. I really feel if it is untrue that her "people" or person need to address this and right away. Enough with the getting people talking mind frame. This is not good for Mariah as people are unhappy with her diva like over the top behavior to begin with. A simple official statement from even Mariah herself or her spokesperson to finally address it and it will go forth to the other outlets. She needs to dispell this story if it is false, unless it's true. If it's true, then that is that. I just hate that this is overshadowing so much right now. Tomorrow she will be in Toronto and supposedly performing too so I'm excited about that. I just wish someone would clean up all this dirty laundry that has been coming out on a daily basis. Emotionally invested (67,802) by Mara from United States At this point, cutting ties with Stella even if Mariah wanted to, will probably be on the level of Tommy Mottola minus the marriage. If you think about it, Stella is not only her manager but family, friend and every member of her family is related to something of Mariah's brand. Stella basically pushed out any and all of Mariah's other people and family/friends it seems. With how public Mariah's life has been and on display it seems, we haven't seen old friends all that much or family. I do understand that maybe it is done privately but I don't even know anymore. We know how smothered Mariah felt with Tommy running everything, well insert Stella to that old picture. It would take a whole hell of a lot to change things in MC's life right now even if she wanted to. Maybe that is a battle she isn't ready to deal with. While Stella seems to be truly friends with Mariah, is it really healthy to mix this strong of a friendship with management duties? I think she should find a way to maybe stay in her zone with Stella but find someone new to do the big time jobs. I don't think I would put family or friends in that job. How can that be healthy? I really feel having Stella's sister' cousin, brother in law, father, daughters whoever in such control of Mariah is unhealthy. Why is there nothing ever said about Miska being out with a 46 year old woman holding on to her like she is 30 years old at 2 am in clubs or wherever? Mayer she just really like MC and is a night owl like her too. Does anyone know if MC knew Stella and if so how well before she became this string of a force in her life and the role of her manager and family all in one? Like, we know Nick knew Stella but how well did MC know her? It's all so odd and quite sad really. Mariah surrounds herself with Stella and her family and only Stella and her family all the time. I guess some of us do invest too much emotionally in MC, but really, honesty it's only because we really do care about Mariah Carey the person after all these years and have seen her burnt too many times, so when we see "red flags" we do tend to make a fuss over it. Her style however, ehh, why so much black all the time. It's almost witchy. And Stella's style really seems to be rubbing off on MC, especially the face they even have the same nail polish color, blood red. At least she has those sexy pumps on as opposed to those chunky black things. I love these shoes she has on in these pics. She always rocks this style the best. Bryan looks all too happy to be photographed in these shots I must say. And as far as the ring goes, I do believe it is a diss to James, it's like she is showing him she is not being very careful with it for all it is worth and also placing it on her "middle finger" like a big **** you.
