Re: For all you non believers Amazon music (93,821) (93,828) by T from USA
What lies? You invented those in your head. You skipped over dozens of articles stating E=MC2 is #1 and focused solely on Showbiz. We all see right through you dude. Meanwhile it's #1 in many Asian countries too now. Go MC.

Do you question every artists #1 position or only Mariah's?

For all you non believers Amazon music (93,815) by T from USA
E=MC2 is up to #159 on the album sales chart (from #14,630) for a sales increase of 9,101%. And it's currently #3 on their pop dance album chart and #2 on their Soul chart. Is this a conspiracy too?

Re: Scam? (93,799) (93,803) by T from USA
No it's legit, it's slowly climbing the UK iTunes chart as well, if it was some sort of algorithm then it would've shot up all around the world to #1. But places like UK and Canada where it is not discounted it is climbing a lot slower.

One other thing. If some lamb knew how to game the system believe me they wouldn't have randomly chosen E=MC2 they definitely would've done it for Caution or even better, the debut to mark her 30th anniversary. Apparently they did a song battle on social media the night before and a lot of her Einstein songs won a few battles.

The straight forward dessert to TEOM, #1 (again) (93,797) by T from USA
E=MC2 just hit #1 on the US iTunes chart for the first time since 2008. This is crazy but also so well deserved to a spring/summertime album that is so easy to listen to it's sick. "And you never got a chance to see how good I've done, you never got to see me back at #1."

E=MC2 #36 (93,794) by T from USA
E=MC2 is at #36 on the US iTunes album chart. Can we push it into the top 20? Can we possibly push it to #1 and get a little more justice to the amazing TEOM followup?

E=MC2 back on the sales charts (93,791) by T from USA
E=MC2 is at #85 on the USA iTunes albums charts. Let's all buy it again so it goes into the top 50 again for the first time since 2008. Imagine if we could get #Justice4EMC2.

Re: New album title (93,657) (93,665) by T from USA
I would love her finale album to be called "Mariah" it would such a full circle moment and like you said she has earned the right to now go by one name. I think it should be also 11 tracks like her debut. And make it like the debut but the true Mariah (where she in her life after all those years and the music she really loves).

New album title (93,640) by T from USA
Some people on Twitter are saying that Drake's white heart/fingers crossed on the Mariah pic he posted represents that he's craving white chocolate. What do you think of an album titled "White Chocolate" for Mariah?

Re: The Art of Letting Go (Golden balls edition) (93,625) (93,631) by T from USA
Better, but to make it on the same level quality wise of her 90's albums I would do a lil rearranging:

"The Art Of Letting Go'"
1. Faded (feat. Drake)
2. You Don't Know What To Do
3. Cry
4. Dedicated (feat. Nas)
5. Beautiful (feat. Miguel)
6. You're Mine
7. Make It Look Good
8. Camouflage
9. Meteorite
10. Triumphant Pulse Mix
11. Almost Home
12. The Art Of Letting Go

Re: Maybe it's time for TEOM part II (93,621) (93,630) by T from USA
Isn't E=MC2 part 2? You must be talking about the Emancipation Of Mimi Chapter 3.

Re: PG-Mariah albums (Gold Editions) (93,615) (93,617) by T from USA
I always thought MIAMTEC could've been an album with the greatest potential if it was shorter. I would do:

1. The Art Of Letting Go
2. You Don't Know What To Do
3. Dedicated
4. #Beautiful
5. You're Mine
6. Make It Look Good
7. Cry
8. Supernatural
9. Meteorite
10. Camouflage

While I'm at it, Memoirs:

1. Betcha
2. Obsessed
3. H.A.T.E.U.
4. Candy Bling
5. Ribbon
6. Inseparable
7. It's A Wrap
8. Angels Cry
9. More Than Just Friends
10. The Impossible

I always wished though that the two JD songs she did on MIAMTEC she instead did for E=MC2 (as a substitute for two other JD songs):

1. Migrate
2. Touch My Body
3. Cruise Control
4. I Stay In Love
5. Side Effects
6. I'm That Chick
7. You Don't Know What To Do
8. I'll Be Loving You Long Time
9. Make It Look Good
10. Thanks For Nothing
11. OOC
12. For The Record
13. Bye Bye
14. I Wish You Well

Now That would've been a killer uptempo album to contrast TEOM.

Fan favourites concert "no April Fool's joke" (93,504) by T from USA
This would be a perfect year for that "album cuts/fan favourites" concert she always talks about. But instead of taking it on the road and having to deal with critics writing about vocals or empty seats, she could do it in the privacy and intimacy of her recording booth and upload it to YouTube. It would be a way to still do something during the year of lockdown, and at the same time build good will for many years to come.

Re: So Cold (93,431) (93,432) by T from USA
To me Rainbow represents the first time Mariah made a whole album on her own without being under the watchful eye of Sony and Tommy. Her insomnia made it a bit scattered. If she had Walter to reign it in a little like he did on Butterfly. Songs worth keeping: Heartbreaker, CTTA, Bliss, Crybaby, Petals, TGIFY. The rest could've been under the direction of Walter then we would've had a true follow up.

Mariah called David Foster "the maestro" (93,349) by T from USA
After seeing her reply to David Foster and never to Walter (although she did mention his name on that Amazon docu) I think I can finally see that the reunion will never be happening.

How would it be if she reconnected and worked with Foster for some future classics? If I would have to rate her ballad producers I would say:
1. Walter A
2. Big Jim Wright
3. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis
4. Marc Shaiman
5. David Foster
6. Babyface
7. Randy Jackson
8. Daniel Moore

Re: Hilton (93,328) (93,335) by T from USA
I agree but the magic happened between the two of them in a way Big Jim or Jimmy Jam never could. Sometimes people just connect and get each other. It's just a shame because who knows how many more classics could have been born in addition to the classic ballads she did with others (WBT, DFAU, TTR, TGIFY, Petals, You're Mine) after they broke up.

MC will be fine maybe your prayers should be directed to the more poor and vulnerable senior population.

Re: Hilton (93,299) (93,302) by T from USA
If you bothered to read what I was replying to it was a comment that wished she stayed away from the WBT rehashes and did songs more like: Lead The Way, Without You, Never Forget You and I Don't Wanna Cry. My reply was then you need Walter for that. Pure and simple.

If you want that MC needs to reconnect with Walter.

The potential (93,184) by T from USA
After reading the last few days of messages I think we can all agree that the potential is there. Mariah could have a huge critical and commercial darling if she lessened the control like she did on TEOM and debut. Two albums that she had the guidance of someone else and two of her most outstanding releases in her career. Who would she trust to do this with again? Sylvia Rhone?

Re: The next album (93,165) (93,170) by T from USA
The last time she "revisited" the first so albums while working on a new one was MIAMTEC. According to Nick Cannon. And although I see some aspects in the ballads and the throwback dance tracks I'm not sure she had the best guidance at the time and the execution was slightly off. I do think the right producers would help her craft songs fitting of her beautiful talent. I also think Walter A, salty as he may be, is one of those producers.

The next album (93,164) by T from USA
First off, I loved Caution. And it is a nice addition to her vast discography. However I do think another album in the same vein would have just about the same level of success. I understand that nobody should make music depending on how it will do in the public eye but she still is Mariah Carey. And she still should have some level of success. The only thing I can think of is because we're in the 30th anniversary year maybe she could revisit the debut album as a blue print. I would even have a reunion with Walter A and see what happens. I mean I believe if anyone out there can have Adele like numbers it's still Mariah, with the right songs of course.

Salaam Remi (92,661) by T from USA
I wonder why Mariah has never worked with Salaam Remi. He's helped produced some of the biggest songs plus has worked with artists that she loves and respects; Nas, The Fugees, Doug E Fresh. I hope she's involved with Lee Daniels' new movie in which Salaam Remi is producing the music.

Re: E=MC2 era (92,159) (92,160) by T from USA
I agree. The whole era right down the quick marriage was weird and I don't think she had the right people around her. Loosing Sudack could have made her go off the rails a little bit combined with her feeling like she was untouchable. It stared there and then Obsessed and then Idol and it seemed like the attitude kept escalating. Until her second breakdown on New Years 2016.

Mariah Carey and Max Martin (92,082) by T from USA
It may never happen but wouldn't it be insane if the two biggest catchy pop producers finally combined for one song? I mean, Fantasy meets Opps I Did It Again. Dreamlover meets Blank Space. AIWFCIY meets I Can't Feel My Face. The next song should come from these two super producers.
