Anaheim concert (77,617) by Special K from USA It was great to see Ms. Mimi again in concert. I enjoyed it and it was cool to see just as many Mariah fans as there were Lionel fans. Overall Mariah sang very well. Hero and VOL were her best vocal moments. Now there were moments when Mariah's voice cracked and you could tell a back track was playing but for the majority of the time Mariah sang live. Glad she showed EMC2 some love. Actually, Mariah performed better at this concert than she did at the Essence festival. Must be those dorritos and pop tarts. (Tuesday 1 August 2017; 01:32)

As vain as Mariah is trust, she is working on loosing the weight. Last I checked Mariah is a human being. We humans occasionally become imperfect from time to time. Even those humans who are in the public eye. I'm sure Mariah feels personal "shame" in gaining weight but we as fans shouldn't be shaming her about that issue in my opinion. The general public will take care of that. Yes, shame Mariah when she is notoriously late to a concert or some fan meet and greet. Shame Mariah when she is acting like an entitled diva or does some half ass horrific lipped synch performance. Shame, shame, shame for those behaviors, however in my humble opionion to shame any person because they are struggling with weight issues and too assume they are "too lazy" to loose the weight is rude, obnoxious and shameful. I heard they were a shooting movie but I wasn't trying to follow no cameras. I was too busy getting my eat and drank, drank on. I thought Mariah's performance was overall good. Way better than MJB over dramatic chicken head performance this year but hey I love MJB regardless, lol. Side bar: None of these women can touch Diana Ross when it comes to performing live. She had no layers of Hollywood, booze, and Pop stardom living that "Hollywood" life. Girlfriend went into the studio butt ass naked doing her thing. A very organic album. I wonder if Mariah can reconnect with that "Mariah"? I wish she would sit her happy ass down and watch footage of her performances during that time. Anyways all of the songs on that album are great and her vocals are outstanding. For the second album I have to give it to Daydream. That album to me showcased different sides of Mariah. You got the ballads, the fun songs, and of course a classic remake. Not to mention Mariah's vocals are at their best on this album. (Saturday 10 June 2017; 01:14)

Re: Battle of the albums round 1 (75,811) (75,834) by Special K from USA I love both albums but I have to give it to Emotions. The Emotions album like others have stated solidifed me as a die hard fan. The debut is great but it sounds dated and Mariah appeared to have no personality. With Emotions the tones in Mariah's voice are showcased more, the production of the songs are on a whole other level, and the songs are timeless. Emotions has personality (To Be Around You, Emotions, Make It Happen) the album is a perfect blend of soul, pop, with a sprinkles of gospel. Listening to this album just makes me feel good. Of course I have to give shout out to TTEOT but songs like Don't Remember, So Blessed, The Wind and Can't Let Go are dang near perfect. Critics didn't see the vision with this album.
