This is what MC's previous choreographer said. Don't know what to say, it is indeed worrying.

I believe it is lipped. But honestly now, I just tend to see the silver lining that it confuses more people whether it is live or not because her live vocals are so good and so on-point with the lipped parts. But of course I also want for her to do a straight-up live performance at least in her TV appearances or anywhere that a lot of people can see and appreciate her.

Article: Mariah Carey: SA should "expect the unexpected" (61,242)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I don't know but whenever I see an article or interview of Mariah saying "expect the unexpected" or "full of surprises", I usually expect the expected. It doesn't excite my nerves or whatnot because I know that she is not that type and the unexpected or surprises that she mentions are always minimal. Performs Faded, have an exceptional performance number (I always vision her singing Hero with a super long dress while in a platform that moves upward in the climax, accompanied by violins and of course the fans that blows her hair and the dress haha), brings another artist on stage to perform new song, premiere a teaser for an upcoming music video are the few things that must signify that "unexpected" statement. I guess this is the effect of being thirsty for new music haha.

Re: Future releases (61,209) (61,212)

I totally agree, her next single must recapture her vocals and not having to much beats like Infinity. This fan-made version of Triumphant is one of the best example, I love how simple the whole arrangement is and yet the melody is exceptional. If the official single had been released like that, I bet Triumphant might cracked the top 20 on charts. Another one is 100%, the melody and her vocals there always blows me away. More soul mix with R&B and acoustic taste is good for her and of course it must be accompanied with an excellent music video, that is really important. If she will follow the trends (not musically) but in the way music industry works, she can always sit around in the top 20. Gimmicks that the music ultimately will not suffer, I know Adele is doing it right now.

2016 Billboard Music Awards / AI finale (61,189)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
So Mariah might attend the BMAs. If it's true, I wish she performs her new single there. Time to show her amazing vocals with the wider audience and viewers, prove that she still is the songbird supreme and to shut down the haters. Next stop, to slay the 2017 Grammys. I'm disappointed that Mariah doesn't send a message at the AI finale, she is the only judge who doesn't. Props for Nicki Minaj for showing some gratitude. For me, giving some at least 15 seconds of your time in an organization that once you've been with is called professionalism. Whatever the problems or conflict that happened before, I guess giving a short clip and putting aside the drama represents the person's personality. It really says something to that person. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but for me, she must said something on the finale, if she really hates AI that much perhaps wishing the contestants good luck is not bad at all.

I totally agree. I find it odd when I read the article, like I have this feeling that that is not Mariah at all. With this Stella drama, I bet she wrote it herself or whatever to make it like Mariah is defending her. And yes, if Mariah will make a public statement right now, it's better and more timely if the issue is all about her siblings. Oh Stella please, don't show your self-centered attitude towards your client, it's very cheap and obvious. So much opposite with this "My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov are the top of the line in the entertainment business" which you probably wrote like what you did with that "glamorous manager" so called statement of Mariah to you. Lambs are watching you. Just want to leave this here to shed some "love, laughter and light".

"And then Stella comes along" (60,879)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I will give her a chance. I know for some of you her attitude and doings are enough and foul for Mariah as for me has the same sentiment about that. Looking or hearing Stella and that Mishka alone is unpleasant for me, it's like I want to vomit badly. From the very start I had this odd feelings about her and I vision her and her older daughter as the evil stepmother and sister of Cinderella lol. But I want to give her a chance as long this "docu-series" has not yet aired. That is her last shot to prove if she is doing something right for Mariah. If the show will be nicely done and will cater for Mariah's own good then I must give the props to her. But if it is a disaster, I'm done with her, time for us to take that bitch out of Mariah's "squad". Ms. Carey deserves class and A+ management, something Beyonce, Adele, and other reigning pop stars have. Wishing for MC to have a team like Bey, they are so amazing at their job and the fact that they're not appearing in media photos of their client wearing onesies or spinning like a DJ at their client's birthday bash is something admirable.

I agree. As much as I appreciate her quick response to that insensitive fan made tweet conversation, I'm freaking out with her "another artist" label. She is Mariah "[censored]" Carey. She is not another [censored] artist, she is Mariah, one of the few artist you will recognize immediately by her first name. It pissed me off so badly that I can't deal with her right now. Is she afraid that she will only be a Vegas "show-girl" after her stint on AI so she do things like that to be talked about. After her "Mariah media tour" last time and now this, I can't. I adore her and whatnot but she's getting on my nerve lately, it's obviously intentional.

Ariana Grande genuinely loves Mariah (60,792)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
Don't know if it was posted here before, but I just recently discovered it and I felt really bad for Ariana. I know I said some harsh things about her and I do still hope that the ridiculous things happened before are her management's fault. But now, I am starting to appreciate her because she is distancing her sound and image away from MC. Since 2011 she already tweeted MC and in 2012 she replied in her Christmas post by saying "You are the cutest. I love you forever." Lastly, in early 2013, she tweets "Touch My Body by Mariah is really my favorite song ever" and even replied to her followers that says not to forget the hilarious MV of TMB "I know that's why I love her so much" and another one that says she loves WBT and SIO "yep and Obsessed too, so good". After that, her single comes out, and it adds to the MC comparisons. The media started to ask her about Mariah non stop when it's unnecessary and lambs on social media started to attack her. I guess she's got hurt and worn out that reached to the point that she unfollows MC on Twitter and Instagram and I guess by her management's advice as well. I honestly believe that she really idolizes and loves Mariah to death, but sadly by these unfortunate events, she was forced to stop showing some love for her publicly. Who knows, maybe she downloaded Infinity and enjoyed it privately. I wish one day she will visit MC in her Vegas show or in her concerts to show that love again and for her to feel the same way too.

"Did you read the article of the day when Mariah Carey... (I can't understand what she's saying here haha)... She is so biblical that lady, it's a joke, I absolutely adore her. She's here tomorrow. I could leave a secret note somewhere, I love her. She should be in the Bible." . Adele is so lovely, no wonder why she has been so successful, down to earth, no gimmicks, just her personality, voice, and music.

Go girl. Don't ever allow them to stop you because you are one of those few lambs that brings light and fun on this board. And just want for you to know that I will use the same profile photo like yours haha. I just can't deal with the "slayage" that Mariah is giving us these past few days. From the performances to the photo shoots and all that, she is certainly not playing around. Love her.

Re: That voice (60,621) (60,642)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I agree. What I have observed in some of her performances in this tour is I feel that she's holding back in the high notes but I know that the voice is still there. Just look at the Against All Odds and When You Believe performances, her voice is so great, even though some are lipped parts, I can imagine that if she will perform a song completely live, she can do that excellently. I realized that the AAO and WBT climax are still lipped but I'm totally fine with that because she proves to us that she can still sing those parts by serving us new renditions of those songs for the first 3 days of her tour. I believe that she's just protecting her voice and all that. I just know for sure that her voice is in better state right now and the voice that we love is now appearing, emancipating, and gearing for a comeback.

MC finally sings WBT's climax live / TSSF tour (60,461)
by Malcolm from Asia

This Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour just give me chills. It has many highlights like she sings Loverboy after a long time, she has amazing outfits, this killer attitude, and for time in many years, she finally sings When You Believe with Whitney Houston on the monitor. But besides of that, I'm crying because she finally sings We Belong Together's climax at last just watch this. She was so unbelievably amazing, I can't. Mariah's full of surprises.

Wendy Williams on MC's "reality show" (60,441)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I'm glad to hear that Wendy is saying some good things about Mariah recently. Even though she says Mariah is "ticky boom" and what not, she bounces back by saying this "I don't think that this reality show will hurt her career at all, because we remember at the end of the day that she will always be one of the greatest singers of all time. Even on her worst day, she sings better than them all." And even her very active "co-hosts" agreed and says that they will watch MC's rather than Britney's rumored reality show. You know for me, she proves that she will always love Mariah, she's a lamb at heart but she will also say some rude and ridiculous things about her no matter what and we will always be pissed about that. Tough love Wendy, tough love.

New and fresh era (60,401)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I agree that she needs new producers. If we will think, Mariah doesn't have an album this century that cross over her in modern music landscape. (I love MIAM but if she is in good state that time and promotes, it could have been successful.) Many people still thinks that Mariah was from 2000's era and doesn't belong to the present pop music circle. Besides of hiring new producers that will cater her in the present generation, Mariah must promotes like crazy like what B said when her album comes. Have a Carpool Karaoke 2.0 (more in the singing lessen the divaness and stuff), play a game in Jimmy Fallon and Ellen, perform a mini concert in Jimmy Kimmel (preferable at night like what she did in E=MC2 era), be a musical guest and host in SNL and have skits like what she did on The Friday Night Project. (She's so fabulous and hilarious there, this is the episode, part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5. Enjoy. ) And this "docu-series" will be great if it will be excellently made and the public can finally relate to her, so let's just wait and see.

Re: Mariah's Squad (60,337) (60,355)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I can't. Mimi L. it scares the hell out of me. What if "Mariah's Squad" actually means that it will revolves on the Bulochnikovs. That title is just so petty for Mariah, like "squad" is only applicable for Taylor Swift. Mariah does not have squad at least as far as I know, I don't think she has an inner circle of friends that is not business related. Whenever I see a paparazzi photos of her, that family are the only ones that's in her side. Brett Ratner is the only one I know that Mariah is really close with on a deep personal level. If that "docu-series" will push through, I'm really hoping that it will not be another lost opportunity because this is the best platform for her to be loved by the public again, I'm afraid that it will cause her more hate and criticisms. I really hate Stella now (but I hope it will change if that show will turns out to be great and beneficial for Mariah), because it is turning out that she wants that spotlight, I can't even deal with it, she is Mariah "freaking" Carey, she deserves the best. Just be yourself Mariah, just be vocal if you have voice issues, show your rehearsals and show everyone that you are involve in everything that you do. I'm not buying that "Mariah is very funny on camera" because I don't want her to be just funny and laughable, I want her to be genuine so that people will take her seriously too.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey: I still don't know J Lo (60,295) (60,308)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
As much as I adore JLo, I felt the pride as lamb when Mariah fights back with another classy shade. Like Mimi L., if possible I like for her to tone down the shades but that is just really great I can't haha. At least Mariah is consistent with her statement and if she will ask again about that I guess she might say that she doesn't really know her on a personal level at all so what else she can say about her. I got pissed when JLo says "she's forgetful" and "they've met many times" like girl, when? In your dreams? In 2012 or 2013 she guested in WWHL and says that "they've never met" and suddenly she is saying that they've met "many times", how interesting JLo? Girl, the only "Mariah" thing that you meet is her robbed songs, remember your #1 hit "I'm Real"? Just want to share this tweet from a hilarious lamb: "Mariah: I will go to Vegas. JLo: I will go to Vegas. Mariah: I am going to sign with Epic. JLo: I am going to sign with Epic."

Re: Only one MC song (60,261) (60,266)
by Malcolm from Asia

These days, it's a battle between "We Belong Together" and "One More Try". Like Luke, OMT is the song that I don't feel the most in MIAM, it actually came to a point that I deleted it for some reasons. But for the last 2 months, it just happens that I learn to enjoy and fell in love with it. The melody and the lyrics (even though it's a cover, but I think that is the magic of MC, she will convinced you that that song is hers because of the emotions that she deliver). As for WBT, that is my go to song since forever, just the first few seconds of it alone is just heaven to me, it never gets old.

I am looking forward to the time that these archive will be full of positive stories and comments; on how the new album affect and inspire us, how successful the album was, love how the singles are reaching the top 10, how great the music videos are and proud that it is not the typical Mariah Carey that we see and how we will be having a whole new level of appreciation for MC and how proud that we are united as lambily. I am crossing my fingers that all of these will happen.

Article: 2016 Essence festival lineup revealed (60,127)
by Malcolm from Asia

Glad to see that Mariah is accepting these kind of gigs, it will definitely benefit her in introducing her more with GP. I can't with Solange Knowles fangirling with MC "Mariah Carey can you sing 'Underneath the stars' and '4th of July' and 'Betcha gone know' and 'Hate u' at Essence Fest so I can go to heaven?" She's sound so lamb with that. I hope Mariah will perform her new single there.

I compared JLo with Mariah not because of that "rivalry" thing but because they are in the same age group. I have a respect for her and I think she is amazing like Mariah. I just adore her modern style and looks which Mariah did in 2013 and hoping that it will continue because it fits gloriously on her. For the "eye bags" comment, I realize that I had gone too far with that and I apologize but I am really concerned with what's going on with her left eye just look at this, this, and this.
