Yeah, Celine is a great singer but (73,681) by Special K from USA She just alright to me. Yeah, Celine got a great voice and has had much success but that chick has never released a song that has shook a sista the way Mariah has over and over again. I get that Celine is more respected than Mariah is in the present, however, whenever Mariah gets her head out of her ass and realizes her image is shot the hell up, she will finally surround herself with the right management team that can help her with her image and regain more respect from the general public, including some of her fans. And Mariah's catalog, my goodness that catalog. Celine's catalog ain't no where near on the same level as Mariah's in my opinion. Ok, it's now time to roll Celine's ass off of MCA. Start working with a vocal coach and perhaps write and produce songs for other artists. I hope Mariah fires her whole team and drops all of the parasites that are in her life. Especially the part about Mariah feeling she needs to compete with today's market. You're right, if she would just be herself everything would fall into place. Mariah needs to learn to stay in her own lane. She can't compete with these younger artists. When she does, she looses everytime. TEOM was a huge success because Mariah was able to showcase a contemporary/old school sound. When MJB releases new music, Mary always manages to keep it old school with a contemporary sound. Mary could careless about the Keisha Cole's, or Jazmine Sullivan's of the world. Mary does her own thing and continues to have moderate success. Same thing regarding R.Kelly. The dark and light tones in Mariah's hair brings out and enhances those beautiful bambi brown eyes. These pics have a Butterfly/TEOM vibe. Love it. On another note, the party was for different radio DJ's, internet personalities, music producers, writers/bloggers from different music websites, etc. What a great idea. You know I'm really feeling the promotion. Love the way Mariah is making herself accessible and reaching out. Hopefully she does the samething in New York and even possibly the ATL.
