Re: The red carpet goddess and the eye situation (60,087) (60,089)

Thank you Mimi L. you get my point and maybe yeah you're right it's on the camera and angles. I would like to apologize if I offended someone, I'm not starting a fight or something. The whole point of my rant is just I want the best for Mariah, I think her look that night is just not my taste. I looked the other stars outfits and I just like their style more than hers, that's all.

So I think it's just me. But really in some photos she looked tired because of what is going in her eyes and she looks stiff in the red carpet, just look at this.

Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party (60,083)
by Malcolm from Asia

She looks glam, fab and all that but her eye bags are really bothering me, her face looks tired especially in her left eye. You are worth 500+ million Mariah please fix your eye bags, you look like [...] came from [...] studio and [...] records all night long, is that your clue for us that you are really perfecting this next album? haha. And she is taller than Nicki, Ariana and Beyonce but why [...] it look like they are the same height or even shorter. I guess it's really time for Mariah and her stylists to study and analyze on how she will look taller, fierce, and pose ala America's next top model. I really feels envy in JLo's glam team for Mariah because that woman is always looking snatched every single damn time, I wish MC will hire modern stylists like that too. She did it in 2013 but why all of the sudden she lost all that looks and style. I wish she will bring back this look, the hair color, the hair style, the make-up, the posture, I can't, she looks youthful and radiant.

Re: Kelly's marvelous performance (60,039) (60,042)

True. I was shock when I saw the iTunes chart, it shoots up to No. 1 even though it has been released last November. By the way Kelly also mentions Mariah in that episode of AI, it's interesting because she is sitting next to JLo haha. Talent and soul will always win no matter what and it's nice to see that real divas and ballads are slaying again the charts, thanks to Adele and Kelly. So for our queen, just please sing your heart out with the coming era, just your voice, emotion, and the microphone then you will see, you will rise again and emancipated like the Mimi we are all been waiting for.

Re: Reality show confirmed (60,024) (60,026)
by Malcolm from Asia

Documentary will be good. I think the rumor of "Butterfly in Vegas" last year is a documentary so I wish they will push through that not a reality show. Besides of that being cheap for Mariah, she will also get criticized because she is always mentioning reality shows in a negative way. Be it a documentary then we are all good, a reality show can really downgrade her star.

Mariah Carey and Beyonce's rumored single (60,014)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
I can't handle this hype, I don't want to expect but the tease of MC interview about the rumored single with OK TV USA is so exciting. We know Mariah, I'm thinking she will say one-liner safe response or whatsoever but all the rumors on twitter are too much to handle. They say it will be released on March 22 and the title is rumored to be called "Hearts Down". And then there is a twitter account called "Beyonce Predictions" and the predictions about Beyonce seem legit. The tweets mostly came true/happening now, and they have a tweet last December that says "Beyonce will have a collaboration with another international female star". I know these are all rumors but who is not excited about this? It will be epic.

Oh my goodness gracious that was the best. I don't understand why some people are criticizing her voice over and over again like are they still a fan or what? Yes, I came to a point that every time I listen to Mariah, it irks me, it disappoints me, it saddens me because of the state of her voice. But whenever she had a good performance, I give her the props, I appreciate it and I'm trying my best not to be critical about it. Come on, Mariah slayed on this performance, I'm not saying it's a 1990-debut type of greatness or whatsoever but in my heart with my personal compromises, she did great, I felt that goosebumps and satisfaction that I need to feel. It only annoys me why this is not the performance that she showed in the BMAs performance damn it. It could be great, she would have a positive feed backs from the public and earned a standing ovation, even the ever respectful first rows will be amazed. I know Mariah is really getting there and if somebody will still deny and criticize her capacity as an artist, seriously I am close enough with this.

True, I'm loving that clip since I watched it. One commentator said, "As a lamb I've noticed that the problem is not with her voice, the problem is confidence. She should unleashed her 90's confidence and the '05 vindicated attitude and she'll kick ass once again.?" I'm somewhat agree with him. I do believe that if Mariah will bring that confidence, all things will work together.

Carey-Packer's heir (59,777)

I know Mariah might not like this idea but If she and James will really be together, I wish they will have their own child. If Mariah doesn't want to carry a baby anymore, we have a surrogacy, it's not an issue or big of a deal these days thanks to Ms. Tyra Banks bravery. And who doesn't want for Roc and Monroe to have a sibling/s, I'm sure it will bring their family a whole new level of happiness and "festivity".

This picture just made my day, my favorite divas in one photo. I can't even express how happy I am to see these 2 beautiful ladies. And Mariah now has a proper photo with Bey to post when it's her birthday so it can never be suspected as shade.

I agree. Mariah doesn't need to dance ala Beyonce to pull that off, she has a wide, meaningful, and great discography to slay the half-time show. All she need is great production, well-rested and rehearsed vocals then it will be a great night celebrating and commemorating the music of a true artist.

My goodness this is the best response for all the haters saying that Mariah cannot sing anymore. It clearly shows that her voice has limitations now but if she is in the right environment, she will sing like the angels are coming down from heaven like that impromptu.

The weaves / outfits / music (59,534)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
In all fairness the weaves are much better compared to last year except for the curly one but they can fix it along the way. The gowns are to die for dahling , the wetsuit outfit is so hot, I just wish she wears a wig like in the Honey MV to complete the ensemble. Please surprise us with a phenomenal album this year, single-release with a bang and well crafted music videos, now I'm thirsty for new music. So much love for you Mimi.

Yeah. I don't understand why she handed her social media accounts with Stella like that. She is Mariah Carey for God's sake, she must be handled with class come on and hashtags are not necessary. Please don't make MC's accounts like yours, I appreciate what you've done with Mariah's image but I'm begging you to please leave her social media accounts alone. Find someone who is knowledgeable with that matter.

Hashtag-riah (59,486)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
So I saw this tweet of Mariah and I can't hold back my laugh because Stella is at it with the weird hashtags haha. It's clearly must have been "Roc thinks he's on a roller coaster movie night" rather than that, it's so hilarious haha. If her team will handle the social media accounts forever, they must attend a seminar on how to use hashtags and whatsoever. I miss the time when Mariah herself tweets, it's so real, no photos, no advertisement, no hashtags, just a pure tweet expressing herself. Way back to 2009, one friend retweet this from her: "Someone was disturbed by the lack of perfect grammar in my tweets. For the record, its a tweet, not a thesis, dear. Relax. I tweet on." Slayed.

Vegas residency (59,372)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
Mariah must level up her game in Vegas. The show-stopper queen has arrived (yes, JLo it is) and if she/we like it or not they will be compared. I agree that she must ditch the wigs because it looks cheap for her but if she and her team can up the weave game ala-Beyonce style then so be it. I think it will help her show because she always say that her Vegas show shows her journey as an artist so might as well bring us back to those times visually: the outfits, the wigs, the stage that will reminisce every #1 hit seamlessly with class. Honestly, her stage looks cheaper and smaller compared to Celine's and JLo's. Come on Team Mariah, if she will do this for good please fix, arrange and improve everything that fits for a queen with 18 #1 hits, changed the face of pop music and inspired mostly all the female artist in 20th century. And MC, I don't care if you don't dance, just own that stage like this and we are all good. Please slay this residency like that 35-carat engagement ring.

I did too. It's so weird because it's Mariah and Ariana together haha. I'm just like swiping on my phone and then I saw this clip that they are in, they are both wearing red gowns and it's like a teaser for their upcoming collaboration haha. They are like into each other, super close and it's so glamorous. I wish it's true because until now I'm hoping for a diva collaboration.

Re: Tennessee (59,285) (59,291)
by Malcolm from Asia

I get your point but what all I'm trying to say is whether it's a small role, serious role or whatsoever, she must be effective 100%. I just felt sad that after Precious, she gave that type of acting that is cringe-worthy and I know they are far different from each other but you know what I mean (the glowing effect when she is on, the scenes when she's like in a different set and all that), but it happened already so what else can we do and at least it's on Hallmark Channel. After all, I wish they learn something about it because consistency and credibility is everything. I don't want for Mariah to be mocked again because of her choice of acting projects.

Tennessee (59,284)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
So I just watched Tennessee for the first time and Mariah is so natural and great in there and I'm like thinking to myself "So what happened with A Christmas Melody?" She's doing great when Lee Daniels is her director, I don't know what magic or something is Lee doing with Mariah when they are working together but it's so excellent. I wish the Empire appearance will push through or in HTGAWM even better. Mariah only need that consistency in acting like what she did in The Butler, Tennessee, and Precious then she's okay, she will not be poked fun when it comes to acting anymore. I don't need another ACM type of acting when she's like so into herself when she has the ability to become a serious, great, and respectable actress.

Re: "Best-selling female artist of all time" title (59,154) (59,156)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
Okay, I didn't know that. But to mention it every single time is not helping her at all, it's like she badly wants to be on top and it will turn out to be an insecurity. It can also cause her for being un-relatable in general sense because being relatable will endear her across a broad audience. I observe that team Mariah might be visiting this forum occasionally because I think they follow some suggestions of ours, so team Mariah if you will see this, please consider my suggestion. All we want is what's best for MC.

"Best-selling female artist of all time" title (59,152)
by Malcolm from Asia
| |
|
|
Why Mariah Carey and her team mentions that title every single time when it's not even true based on facts? I think it's time to change it to "one of the best-selling female artist of all time" because that title clearly belongs to Madonna worldwide and to Barbra Streisand in the United States, Mariah only placed at third spot. For me it's giving her more negative image for bragging it every time rather than a positive one or whatsoever when Madonna and Barbra occasionally says it in public.
