So, you work for Mariah/her team, do you? Where does your info come from?

Matt, Ryan (39,335) by Will from England
Oh yeah, I forgot about P!nk's song. That's a good one.

Matt (39,334) by Will from England
I 100% agree. I'm a bit tired of these meaningless songs that have no depth to them. Adele is probably the closest the music industry has gotten to a really moving, successful ballad recently. I hope Mariah can knock it (and the world) out the park with a moving ballad soon!

Whose album: Mariah's or Nick's? (39,316) by Will from England
So, whose album do you think will be released first? Mariah's or Nick's lol? Looks like this is going to be a close race!

Marian's vocals (39,276) by Will from England
I think the majority of lambs here would agree that something happened between the end of the Daydream tour, making Butterfly and post making the album. Watch her performance of Hero on Oprah. It's such a noticeable difference that it can't be ignored. Yes, she did have the less than stellar moments pre-Butterfly, but they were such a rare event that I can only think of a couple of moments where I watched an early performance and thought "oh, that was really bad". But during Butterfly, her voice became deeper and more 'constricted'. On the other hand, it did get back some of its previous power through Rainbow and Gitter, It got a very good rest during Charmbracelet (less belting throughout the album), which left it good for TEOM, however the tour set it back to pre-TEOM for E=MC2. Being pregnant, staying off her feet, resting her voice for 9 months did it wonders. It sounds lighter now, and more "flowery" compared to TEOM era. True, it may not have the belting power, but it's a right side better than nothing,

Could it be? (39,257) by Will from England
The sound of a new single on the horizon? And what could be the album close behind it? Huh, we could get it this year after all.

Almost Home (39,244) by Will from England
Almost Home as a whole was not a very intricate part of the film. There was no hint to it though out the musical soundtrack in the film (which the CD mainly comprises of hence why I think it wasn't included), and to be honest, the version that is at the end of the film sounds like a rough demo of the song, before she released the final version that we bought.

My fav cover (39,144) by Will from England
It would have to be "Without You" hands down. Not because it was the first MC song I ever heard, but because the way she sang that song, is something to that to this day I can't describe. The level of control she had over those runs, the long notes, and that haunting way it was arranged, especially when she sang it on the Daydream tour in Tokyo. For me, it's in a league of it's own when it comes to her covers, and the way she sang it has become, in my eyes, iconic to the point where every contestant who goes onto these singing competition shows, tries to copy the way she did it (and falling short lol).

No Rainbow (39,077) by Will from England
Since there has been some talk about Glitter, I've always wondered how the soundtrack would have turned out, if she hadn't released Rainbow, and included songs like HB etc on the soundtrack instead. Glitter I think was a very adventurous soundtrack for Mariah, which has some very outstanding and exceptional songs on it that, what I consider to be, her best vocals/lyrics/music post-90s.

The tour (39,037) by Will from England
Is this tour still on? Has there been any new info that has managed to slip me by? I hope that when she finally announces the album release date, that the tour info will closely follow.

My fav album? (39,023) by Will from England
Has to be CB. IOW is the best song on that album IMO. Yes, it's short, but the lyrics are her best since The Roof, "farewell fair weathered friend, abandonment returns to taunt me again". Brilliant. It wasn't really a "singles" album, it needed to be heard in its entirety and it's a very easy album to listen to. I'm glad to see people have something good to say about MOAIA. I l.o.v.e. this album to pieces. Again, some sounded very similar to each other (Obsessed and Standing O), but it had its little gems like Candy Bling and HATE U. To me, Languishing was the Looking In of that album. It always makes me laugh how some fans ask her not to do rap collabs, when she gave us an entire album feature-free.

My two cents on the album release (38,994) by Will from England
If Mariah really wants to avoid directly competing with Gaga and KP, then from what I see, she has two options. She can either wait untill after the hype for the two albums to have died down, and release her album then. (Providing that there are no other major releases from other artists. Adele, I'm looking at you.) In which case, the second single would need to be near the end of the year, followed closely by the album to catch the Christmas sales, then enter the new year with the next single. Or, she can release the second single within the next two weeks, followed closely by the video, then release the album beginning of September. That way, her album would be out for a quite a bit before LG's and KP's albums come out. She needs to have a really attention grabbing single that will force the attention back to her, and a decent video, and I agree with a comment below that it can't be "we'll see what happens", the promotion needs to be "you will listen to this song because you won't be able to escape it until you buy it".

Licia and Stephen / The Butler premiere (38,924) by Will from England
Congrats to you both lol. That really made me laugh. Mariah looked great at the premiere and the press conference. She really worked that sling for all it was worth lol. Would never have thought to have the sling be turned into a sleeve and make it part of the outfit. Wouldn't it be hilarious if she came out with her own line of customised slings?

Track list (38,910) by Will from England
It probably isn't real. I don't see how any of the songs reflect what Mariah has been talking about (ie raw ballads etc.) or the title. "Mr Operator" doesn't sound like the raw, deep ballad that one might expect from Mariah. Keep in mind that the article said "rumoured", not confirmed. The only legit and confirmed track is #Beautiful lol. The same thing happened with MOAIA, I believe one of the rumoured tracks was titled "Angels in My Backyard" or something to that effect lol.

A word of caution (38,899) by Will from England
I've been seeing a lot of messages/tweets/Facebook posts about what lambs are expecting from this album, such as wanting another Daydream or TEOM album etc. and I understand that. I would just like to put a word of caution forward about what to expect, ie, lower their expectations for the album. I'm slightly worried that if everyone has such very high expectations for the album, anything less and people would be disappointed and may not receive the album well. I am excited for the album, and what Mariah has to offer, but I just feel that it's the wrong move to expect so much for something that hasn't been released yet. The same goes for future singles. For me, I'm expecting a good album, but nothing spectacular, so that anything more will be a great surprise for me. Did that make any sense or am I just plain crazy lol?

Stacey (38,860) by Will from England
Yeah, as much as I do love seeing Mariah in the studio, you'll love to hear new material. How many songs has she recorded by now? I can't stand to think of all the songs that she has recorded that we will never hear , unless of course she releases a double disk album.

Album cover (38,830) by Will from England
I like it, if it is the official one of course. It's a far cry from TEOM, E=MC2 and MOAIA. It actually seems to reflect the actual album title, which again, is very different from the MOAIA cover, which seemed more to be about "Memoirs of Imperfect Assests" lol. I hope we get to see the official version soon. The new alleged album cover should have been the one for Memoirs lol. A nice change indeed Mariah.

New dance mix (38,794) by Will from England
Even from the bad quality from the voice message, her vocals sound incredible. And from the sounds of it, it sounds just like a Mariah-only dance-mix version. Yeah, I was a teenie tiny bit disappointed there wasn't more for the 7/23, but I understand that she was hurting and everything.

Triumphant (38,786) by Will from England
You have to remember the context of why she recorded and wrote Triumphant. It was mainly for Nick when he had the kidney problems. She was rushing to get the song released at the time. Was it the best song she ever released? No. Was it was worst? I don't think so. I loved Triumphant along with some of the remixes, however I do think that with more time I think it could have been better and more well thought out.

Documentary being filmed for DVD (38,768) by Will from England
I'm very curious about this documentary that was filmed. I really do hope it's something to do with the new album (like, behind the scenes with her in the recording studio, plus the aftermath of the fall and leading up to the charity concert).

Alain (38,757) by Will from England
I think that chance has been and gone. It may hang around the mid- to low-twenties for maybe a couple of weeks, but I don't think it will go into the top 10, unless Billboard have missed a whole chunk of sales that for whatever reason have not been counted. It could well have been a top 10 had the album been indeed released in four days, as originally planned, but alas, it will never be. Next single and hopefully the album will be released soon, and not this gut-wrenching rumour that it will be released in November. Note the word "rumour". But a small congratulations is on hand for #Beautiful, for remaining quite consistent in the UK charts. For a good 9 weeks, it remained in the top 20 without much/any promo, maybe shifting up one/a few more than one slots in the chart, reaching I think 21 (?). It has only just begun to descend down through the charts. That for me, is a sure sign that this was a hit single.
