Heroes / Hero / Joy To The World medley (96,762) by B from USA Mariah slayed this live medley. 2020 has been Mariah's year. She's slayed every time she's sang, from snippets of songs from TEOM to commemorate its anniversary to all of her live televised performances. I can't wait to watch her Apple Christmas special. By not permitting it to be used by everyone who has asked and continues to ask, she's kept the song from becoming oversaturated. Mariah's been selective and smart when it comes to licensing her music. The GAP, Hallmark Countdown to Christmas, and Ryan Reynolds' Free Guy adverts are amazing. (Tuesday 3 November 2020; 11:07)

She would sing a melody to him and use him as a vessel to work through. He wasn't solo responsible for writing the music and producing their songs. It was out of order. He wants to diminish Mariah's contribution to the writing and producing of AIWFCIY, which is the same thing he's always accusing her of. During their time working together, he stated she would come up with a melody and sing notes to him and lead him musically (melodically) and that she would write the lyrics by herself. After he claimed she made up words in an interview and used emblazoned as an example, he lost what little credibility he had left, in my opinion. (Monday 2 November 2020; 20:31)

When she was promoting the rerelease of Merry Christmas and the new AIWFCIY music video, she said that she was working on new music and that she was planning on doing a song with two male artists. MC30 (96,418) by B from USA This year has done wonders for Mariah's reputation and legacy. I know The Rarities didn't do that well, but I think a lot of people had to choose between the album or the memoir, and they obviously choose the memoir. I was lucky enough to be able to buy both. I think its sales will improve once AIWFCIY begins its yearly ascent to the top of the charts. (Saturday 24 October 2020; 19:42)

Re: #MC30 (96,408) (96,415) by B from USA Listening to Mariah tell her life story, her unvarnished truth, not only made me cry and laugh out loud, but it also gave me a better understanding of the woman whose music is the soundtrack of (to?) my life. I love how she weaves her lyrics into the narrative. I always figured Honey and The Roof were about Jeter but was surprised to learn he also inspired My All. I think he's also the inspiration for Subtle Invitation, Lullaby, WBT, DFAU, Mine Again, and countless other hits. Not him but what he represented. I hope that makes sense. I like both versions, but the Cameo version is better than the Firecracker version. I wonder if Cory Rooney, who had previously worked with Mariah, was involved in the theft of the sample? Let's not forget that with I'm Real, J.Lo and Tommy foiled two of Mariah's songs because the Murder Inc. Remix of I'm Real is a knockoff of If We, which was Mariah's best chance at a hit after the Loverboy debacle. (Saturday 24 October 2020; 18:43)
