There was no need for Marish's career to take this dive, yeah she's never gonna be as popular as her heyday but Stella has well and truly ruined everything. "From diva to laughing stock" (72,941) by Jamie from UK Unfortunately there is a double page spread in a U.K. newspaper on Mariah saying how she's become a laughing stock. This is very sad to read, this feels much worse than the Glitter era now. I hoping there's some kind of change coming soon. She proved last week singing VOL that she's still got it. But she now needs to get decent management as Stella has contributed to this mess, but also Mariah needs to refocus in herself and get herself in a better place. I love Mariah and always will but she can't carry on like this. (Monday 20 February 2017; 12:32)

Mariah should have attended the Grammys (72,659) by Jamie from UK I personally [...] MC should have attended the Grammys, it would have raised her profile and show that she still cares about the music industry. Most of the big stars were there, and it would also have opened her eyes to how passionate some of the stars are about their music and performances. It may have instilled in her and made her think you know what I've still got it and I'm gonna prove it to you guys. She may even have got inspiration of new ideas and which direction to go. I actually like it (72,000) by Jamie from UK I personally like this song, it's radio friendly and easily catchy. Something fans have been asking for a while now. Too many people hating on MC I'm sure if it does well commercially everyone of you will all be loving it then. Yes I love Mariah from the 90's and yes she had lots of hits then, but it's not the 90's anymore. She won't be that person again, I'm not the same person I was in the 90's. People change and sounds evolve. Music like that isn't made anymore which is a shame but that's just the way it is. I don't think it's the best songs she's done but it's certainly not the worst. Wise words (70,865) by Jamie from UK I agree with Tommy, after all that's gone on he clearly still cares about her career path. He's right she needs to step back and think about what she wants to do. Yes she has been very successful, but she's loosing credibility with these things that keep happening. The voice is still there, when she sings acapella at concerts it's clear she can still sing. I think she should do a love songs album, something where she can show off her voice again with meaningful quality songs. (Thursday 5 January 2017; 20:02)

Re: E=MC2 vs. Memoirs (56,565) (56,569) by Jamie from UK I love both but E=MC2 has to be my favourite, each song is so strong and there's not one track I dislike. Memoirs when it was released I was disappointed with as on first listen I couldn't differentiated between the songs, but then it grew on me and also love this album but over all for song favourites it has to be E=MC2. I got to speak to her during this album era and she looked extra amazing too. (Thursday 10 September 2015; 10:35)

Nathan Morris (49,846) by Jamie from UK Well done Nathan. I'm a huge Mariah fan but she needs a wake up call. The people around her now are clearly not being honest with her. Trey Lorenz has known her the longest time yet he sits there watching her act the way she has been doing when he knew her from the early days and know that this behaviour is wrong. This is far more serious than the Glitter era. She needs to listen to Nathan's advice and hopefully those close to her will advise her so before something serious happens. Pretty bad year (48,469) by Jamie from UK I adore Mariah however I'm realistic, this has been a bad year professionally and privately. I hope she learns from the negative outpouring that she realises she needs to refocus take it back to basics. People are tired of the divaness and craziness, it's not working anymore. What need Mariah who makes great music, gives 100% to the promo/dist of the music, who is not acting crazy in public and not looking like a wax work on the cover of the album. You were so cool when you didn't care so much about your appearance. You always looked good, why feel the need to be perfection it's taking away from music? What happened after E=MC2, your last great album? You seamed focused in this period. After E=MC2 I found you changed. I'll always buy your music, unfortunately this last album hasn't worked due to lack of promotion/delay. The last thing I expected was a tour from this album, promotion alone would have been a better choice. My advice, take it on the chin, remove yourself from the limelight for a while, come back with a killer album and a radio hit. Reverse the negativity surrounding you by forgetting the things I said, they aren't working Stand up for your career, you are Mariah. Show the voice again, that's all people want. Remind them why they fell in love with the innocent shy girl with that amazing voice. Your MTV interview for Butterfly. You were more trendy here but controlled and focussed. That MC is what we want. What's going on? (44,636) by Jamie from UK I really am loosing patience with Mariah, the music is great, so why are we getting a half hearted effort from her? Considering this took her so long to complete, it's like she's just abandoned it. Nobody wants water from you, we have Evian for that. This whole persona is not working anymore, people do not like that side of you. It was quirky in 2001 during Glitter but now it's just ridiculous. By now you should be a respected artist, doing great live shows etc. But I think you need to wake up as everybody else has. For somebody of your calibre people should be saying I can't wait for the next Mariah album, but all their doing is wondering what happened to you. I know you say your early days weren't the real you, but you never acted this way in the Daydream era or even Butterfly when you said you were free, even in TEOM and E=MC2 era people really respected you and you could sense that when you performed live, so why act this way now? Stand up and be noticed again for the rare talent that you are and not for this silly behaviour that is now unfortunately bigger than your music. I will always be a fan, but if I could sit you down and tell you what you really need to do believe me I would, as for the people around you their not doing you any good at all. Rant over.
