About Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia: Every Moment I'm Alive Until The End Of Time.

Re: Question please help (93,012) (93,016) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
The record company wanted X Girlfriend as the summer single for 2000. They wanted an uptempo song and that song's beat and music was the trend of that time. With combined budget of Can't Take That Away and Crybaby video, I guarantee that X Girlfriend would have a great video, maybe Bianca would make her second appearance as well. Sony would definitely promote the song and it would become her 16 number one.

I want My All-latin guitar ballad for 2020 (92,936) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I want Mariah to make a new ballad with acoustic guitar latin style ala My All.

It should have been Mariah and JLo (92,717) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Imagined Mariah and JLo performed for the halftime show. Mariah did all the ballads and vocals, and JLo did all the dancing, fireworks whatever. Two powerful divas in their own league. No hate.

Charmbracelet in full voice (92,599) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
In my alternate world, Mariah is singing the album in full voice, and not the whispering falsetto voice that we have in this reality. Just imagine Mariah's voice in Hero singing Through The Rain, Mariah's voice in Always Be My Baby singing The One, Boy, You Got Me, with many layers of strong voices for the chorus. The album would have getting more support from the public. The album should be named "Sunflower" instead, and the album cover is the one where she lying down on grass with the white dress. Perfect. Just in my alternate world, no harm.

New haircut, maybe, for 2020 (92,515) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I was looking at Celine's new hairstyle for her latest album Caution, I mean Courage. Hehe. She looks great with that. So I'm wondering maybe M could do a little touch up to her hair maybe. She's been having that long wavy, curly, straight hair for 30 years already. So it's about time for 2020 she would consider something different. Maybe.

A No No should have been the first single (92,423) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
The Caution era should have begin with A No No, an uptempo song with catchy lyrics and melody that would obviously generate interest from the public. I would imagined the video in the bowling centre where M and her girlfriends were having their games and other male patrons at the place were hitting on M and M said "I said no, a no no". They should have one hot Hollywood actor to play that role. This kind of video and song would draw more viewers and it would help the song on the charts more.

You're Mine vs You Don''t Know What as first single (92,367) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Releasing You're Mine as the first single after the success of a throwback R&B sound (#Beautiful) was a huge mistake, in my opinion. The label, or Mariah, should have picked You Don't Know What To Do, an updated 70's disco R&B, as the opening song for the Elusive era. And even if they wanted to go for You're Mine, at least be consistent in having Mariah to perform that song to the masses. She only performed live the song once, at the Bet Honors 2014. She did not do any singing of that first single when she made an appearance at David Letterman, 106&Park, MTV First, Today Show Summer Concert and World Music Awards. For me, it was such a waste effort from them of releasing You're Mine (with a decent budget of a video) and not consistently promoting the song. The main reason for the huge success of We Belong Together was the many live performances of that song in every major TV show in 2005.

100% as second single after Obsessed (92,347) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I wonder why the powers that be at that time did not include 100% in the Memoirs album. This song would be the best follow up single after Obsessed. And the song was meant originally to be the theme song of Precious, but was pulled off last minute. If the song remained as the theme song of Precious, the song might had a chance to be nominated for Oscar or Golden Globe. I think the song I Want To Know What Love Is was too bland, uninspiring and too safe after the controversial single, Obsessed.

Mariah, Dwayne and Mykall-Michelle in a movie (92,288) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I hope any movie producers would do a movie and cast Mariah and Dwayne Johnson as the parents of Mykal-Michelle. Mariah can sing the theme song of the movie as well. Just my hopeful imagination.

Full performance of her promo at MTV in 2008 (92,247) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
In 2008 when promoting her E-MC2 album, Mariah did a promo with MTV where they show a snippet of her singing an acoustic version of Thanx 4 Nothin' and Love Story, piano version of Touch My Body, and an unplugged version of I'm That Chick and Migrate. Do you guys think that a full version of those performances are available? Or they want to wait to release it in 2028 (20th anniversary) just like they did with performances from the St John the Divine.

Re: DVD compilation of Mariah's SNL performances (92,231) (92,238) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Even during E=MC2 era, M was not scheduled to perform at SNL. It was a last minute thing where she replaced Janet Jackson who was scheduled to perform but was fallen sick. Maybe the live tv performance makes her nervous and that's why she prefers a tv show where you can pre-tape the performance.

DVD compilation of Mariah's SNL performances (92,221) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Mariah always gives her best when it comes to SNL performances. Her performance of My All was the only one that came close to the studio version. She did not dodge any notes on that song. Even for Touch My Body she did not lipsync the climax as she always does in every other performance of that song. Her label or SNL itself should compile all her performances and release it on dvd or online. Below are the songs that she performed live on that show:
1. Vision of Love (October 1990)
2. Vanishing (October 1990)
3. Can't Let Go (November 1991)
4. If It's Over (November 1991)
5. Butterfly (November 1997)
6. My All (November 1997)
7. Touch My Body (March 2008)
8. Migrate (March 2008)

Book plus anniversary debut album plus the demo album (92,208) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
In conjunction of the book "I Had A Vision Of Love" and the 30th anniversary of her debut album "Mariah Carey", I would suggest for the management to release M's anticipated demo album that was rumored to be released in late 2014/2015 but was cancelled because according to M someone had ripped off the idea and visual. So 2020 would be the right time to release the demo album together with the book.

1.6 billion is for total sales of M's catalogues (92,181) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
As far as I know, 1.6 billion is not referring to how many units/albums/singles of Mariah that were sold in Asia Pacific. But it was referred to the total sales of Mariah's whole catalogue in the region of Asia Pacific from 1990-2018.

Mariah's original Christmas in one album for 2020 (92,155) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
By the end of the year of 2020, if the Billboard does not change the current rules, AIWFCIY may be able to top the Hot 100 chart again. So I would hope to help promote the song, might as well Mariah would compile all the original songs written and produced by her in one album, plus one or two new songs. The trackslist as below:
1. All I Want For Christmas Is You
2. Oh Santa
3. Christmas Time Is In The Air
4. Miss You Most At Christmas Time
5. When Christmas Comes
6. Jesus Born On This Day
7. One Child
8. Lil Snowman
9. The Star
10. Where Are You Christmas
11. New song
12. New song

Re: I Had A Vision Of Love (92,132) (92,135) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Yup. I don't like the title as well. Too much "the woe is me" type of thing. I'd prefer if she named it "My All" meaning that she gave her all story, honest and brutal, in the book.

Mariah, Celine and Toni for 2020 (91,963) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Just get those three divas to collaborate for a song in 2020 and that song will rise to No 1 in no time. The song needs to be an uptempo song with powerful vocals and catchy chorus. Just like Bang Bang. Imagine three fanbase of each divas assembled together streaming and buying the song. The song will become Mariah's 20th, Celine's 5th and Toni's 3rd No. 1.

Mariah needs hot uptempo song in 2020 (91,934) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Just my opinion. I think Mariah needs to release a hot uptempo song (featuring or not) in 2020. She obviously needs to avoid releasing mid tempo ballads as first singles that were proven had failed; You Mine, GTFO/With U, I Don't.

Mariah (19 No 1's) and Rihanna (14 No 1's) (91,746) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I think Mariah and Rihanna should collaborate a song. Imagine two singers who each have the most No 1 singles in a video together. Best formula for No 1. Mariah will get her 20 and Rihanna will get her 15.

Congrats. 19 #1's in 2019 (91,704) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Congratulations. Such an iconic song. We all know that entertainment industry is very biased against older women above 40. Not many female singers above 40 that are able to reach the highest peak at Billboard Hot 100 Singles. Only four female singers that were able to break this:
Believe: in 1998, Cher (52 years old)
All I Want: in 2019, Mariah (49 years old)
Music: in 2000, Madonna (42 years old)
Cheap Thrills: in 2016, Sia (41 years old)

Top 10 hits for 3 decades (91,575) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Congrats Mariah for getting the song at #3 on Billboard Hot 100. Now she's holding the record for having top 10 hits for three decades already. Let's hope the song to reach #1 so that she will hold the record for achieving #1 for three decades.

AIWFCIY acoustic guitar live performance (91,503) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I would suggest for Mariah to post on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc, her live intimate performance of AIWFCIY with just a guitar and her vocals. Trust me, it will create some viral moments with her fans and non-fans and ultimately leading to more streaming and subsequently boosting the song on the charts.

No official live performance during Butterfly era (91,342) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Since Mariah's first album, every album released must have at least one official live performance/concert for the promotion of the album.

1. Debut album - The First Vision live at Tattoo Club
2. Emotions - MTV Unplugged
3. Music Box - Thanksgiving special
4. Merry Christmas - St John Divine
5. Daydream - Madison Square Garden
6. Butterfly - ?
7. #1's - ISB and WYC Brian Mcknight special
7. Rainbow - Homecoming 1999

I always wonder why there was no official special performance during the release of the album in 1997. Was it because of her divorce or Sony was not happy with the rnb direction of the album therefore lack of support from Sony?

19th number one in 2019 (90,925) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
It would be great to finally get All I Want For Christmas reaching at no 1 at the end week of 2019. 19th number one in 2019.

Brad Pitt should've been the male lead in Glitter (90,764) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
I always wonder to myself why on earth those powers that be picked UK actor, Max Beesley, who was somewhat unknown in US market, to be the male lead in Mariah's debut movie. I would say if they picked Brad Pitt or other A list actors or even B list actors such as Dean Cain, the movie would have fared better.
