Hot 100 this week (70,141) by darrian liu from taiwan So AIWFCIY unexpectedly dropped to #20, but the song is still keeping its bullet, meaning that its performance is still increasing. It was supposed to be at #15 but J. Cole surprisingly made a few debuts both in the top 10 and top 20, so AIWFCIY is pushed down for a little while. But it's likely that next week, with all streams from the James Corden video kicking in and the Christmas time itself nearing, in addition to the J. Cole songs that will most probably drop off the top 20 next week, it will get nearer to the top 10. Ugh, why should he ruin this week's AIWFCIY chart performance? Praying to the good Lord that Mariah gets her well-deserved top 10 hit this year, come on, make it happen please. (Tuesday 20 December 2016; 16:34)

Janet has also consistently place her studio albums in the top 5 - top 3 even, excluding her first two albums. It was her third album, Control where she really became big. Mariah also had much anticipation for MIAM since it had been 5 years after the release of MOAIA, so we can say that MIAM is a quite highly anticipated project. (Sunday 18 December 2016; 1:47)

Without equivalent units, she sold 109,000 albums in the first week. That is nearly double the amount Mariah sold in the first week of MIAM. Your argument is thus invalid. It's clear that Mariah's popularity has declined, she hasn't had a top 10 hit since 2009, and her last top 20 hit excluding AIWFCIY was back in 2013. That was also just one hit single among all flops (Triumphant, TAOLG, YME, etc). Whereas the Mariah of the 90s had at least 2 no. 1 singles in each album (in fact her lowest charting single in the 90s is Crybaby at #28, if we're counting the full-blown commercial singles only). It's ridiculous to say that Mariah's popularity has remained constant. Yes, less and less people are buying albums, but if Mariah's popularity is not declining, she would've scored a number 1 debut with MIAM with at least 150k sold in its debut week. #Beautiful would've been a solid top 10 hit. YME would've charted far better and Infinity would also gain much more traction. But in reality, her popularity and relevance have declined, thus her recent releases' sales reflect that. Let's just fight hard to get Mariah her 28th top 10 hit with AIWFCIY. (Saturday 17 December 2016; 15:19)

James Corden video (69,983) by darrian liu from taiwan So it isn't a Carpool Karaoke as we expected, but instead is a compilation of artists singing AIWFCIY, including Mariah. This guarantees tons of views since it includes various artists and so their fanbases would really go in. This probably will contribute lots of chart points to AIWFCIY if it goes viral and I'm hoping this would propel AIWFCIY further up the charts. (Friday 16 December 2016; 8:44)

Currently it's charting at #17 and it's still mid-December, while last year at around this date AIWFCIY had just made its debut at #26. The possibility of a top 5 is increasing this year, especially with the cute AIWFCIY video from James Corden which is bound to get viral (I hope). The goal of the IG lambs is to hit #1, but I don't think it's gonna happen this year, but a top 10 is almost certain. (Friday 16 December 2016; 8:40)

AIWFCIY's chart position this week (69,811) by darrian liu from taiwan According to this prediction of this week's Hot 100 (it's not yet updated), AIWFCIY moves up 6 places from its #23 debut right up into the top 20 at #17. I don't know for sure if this is accurate but if it is, this is quite impressive. The song took longer to hit the top 20 last year and if the song continues to perform like this, it wil hit top 5. Or, if it replicates last year's chart performance, it would hit #7 or #8, which is still in the top 10. Fingers crossed for a top 5. C'mon guys, let's fight harder. (Monday 12 December 2016; 10:45)

However, if we're talking of all time in the US alone (including the Nielsen Soundscan era), Barbra Streisand is actually the best selling female artist, with 68.5 million albums (again, not records) sold. Madonna is the best selling female artist worldwide, Barbra is the best selling female artist in the US, and Mariah is the best selling female artist of the Nielsen Soundscan era. Mariah is obviously in her own bubble - she confirms it with "I don't know what people think of me". That's really harmful for her career. Although it is good to ignore baseless bashing comments, it is also good to take the constructive criticisms in consideration as well. If Mariah says that, that means she's really shielded from every public comment about her. That means that she receives little to no feedback on her, and looking at how people around her are all yes-people and enablers (especially Stella), there's no way Mariah can receive any constructive criticisms. Look, I would never judge a woman for wearing anything revealing or anything really, I'm all for body positivity. I won't really complain about the twins (not dembabies) but her fashion choices have been questionable. Who wears lingerie to the red carpet? These fashion choices are odd, which can be caused by just how shielded she is from public opinion. Her "docuseries" is straight up reality TV, it's obvious. I've recently watched Beyoncé's 2013 documentary Life is But a Dream and compared to MW, the differences are really noticeable. If Mariah really thinks MW is a docuseries (like she always insists), then she must be very detached from reality. Mariah's image is in shambles right now and the fact that she does absolutely nothing to try and fix it (whatever she does seems to worsen her image) shows that she is disconnected from reality. Sure, she says that she's not like what she seems to be, but with her constantly talking about things like lighting, people would assume that she really is just like what she says she isn't. So no, Andrew isn't a sad human being, he's just not deluded and is ready to serve up some cold, bloody truth. (Sunday 11 December 2016; 17:28)

The song in its original key is already pretty hard especially with her voice's current condition. I really don't like how her throat closes off in sime parts of the song (especially at the end of her last "when christmas cooooomess"), but most of the song was live except for the chorus and the bridge. I must say that this is my least favorite performance of When Christmas Comes, although she usually slays in Beacon. (Thursday 8 December 2016; 17:58)

VH1 Divas 2016 (69,238) by darrian liu from taiwan I recently watched the full official performance from VH1 and unlike the fan videos, the official performance sounded like it was 90% live. I presume that she sung over a loud backing track (probably the recording from the extra festive version) because in the official video, I can differentiate between her recorded version and her current voice which sounds raspier, heavier and less effortless. I guess from the fan vids, the loud backing track overpowers her live voice by quite a bit. So I think it wasn't such a disappointment. (Thursday 8 December 2016; 8:58)

Beacon (69,152) by darrian liu from taiwan From clips I saw in Instagram, her voice is in great condition. Her tone sounds really bright and smoother than usual, her belts possibly matching the quality of the belts in the European leg of SSFT (imo her tone sounded even better), and this is just the first night. Imagine how good she would sound in the 5th, 6th, 7th and so on. Ugh, what is it about Beacon that got her magic going again? It almost redeems that VH1 2016 "only AIWFCIY" mess. Divas Live (69,059) by darrian liu from taiwan I'm quite disappointed in Mariah for this. She should've prepared more. She's the headliner there, shouldn't she be singing through the whole thing? I would understand the "perform only AIWFCIY" thing if she's billed as a guest performer but her face is literally the biggest image on the poster of VH1 Divas 2016. It should've been like Beacon Theatre, only this time it's with more performers. (Sunday 4 December 2016; 16:46)

VH1 Divas (69,043) by darrian liu from taiwan From the clips I think in some parts she sounded identical to the Disney ABC special but in some parts she sounded live. So idk, mixed feelings about this. I just hope that this special, the Disney thing, MW and the upcoming Carpool Karaoke can propel AIWFCIY on the Hot 100. On a side note, AIWFCIY is starting to make big gains and it's pretty obvious that she will debut next week on the Hot 100. Fingers crossed for a top 10. (Sunday 4 December 2016; 5:11)
